Out of Nazareth: He Came Once, He’s Coming Again.

The humble birth of Jesus remains a miracle to this day.

He came from one of the places where people thought nothing good could come out of—a powerful reminder that God brings beauty out of what seems like nothing. From a place people believed nothing good could come, God raised a King—the One the earth had long awaited.

“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip.

John 1:46 (NIV)

Many spoke of His coming and even died without witnessing it.

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off…”
Hebrews 11:13 (NKJV)

And when He finally came, only a few recognized and acknowledged: "This is the Messiah."

Just as He came quietly the first time, He will return again—soon. The question is: Are you counted among His army? The message of repentance is the message of Jesus.

The Bible says He will come like a thief in the night, and the saints will be taken. Many say, “We’ve heard this all before,” but the truth is: His coming is nearer than ever. We do not need to know the exact time or season. We just need to be ready.

Do not be caught off guard. Mercy is calling out to you today. Let go, and let God take the lead in your life. Don’t be afraid to take that bold step today. Though there are many on this earth, He deals with us personally. Yes—He knows your name and every detail of your life. And he says Come.

"Faith in the Wilderness"

As I read about Jesus fasting for 40 days and nights, I’m struck with awe. He deliberately went into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, not to avoid the enemy, but to confront him and put him in his place.

“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.”
Matthew 4:1 (NKJV)

This makes me reflect:
God will never permit what He knows we cannot overcome.
If He allows it, it means He has already equipped us with the strength to defeat it.

Yet often, it’s not the temptation that defeats us—it’s our own greed, lack of faith, and spiritual negligence. These lead us astray and create distance between us and God.

There are times when life feels like a storm—heavy, dark, uncertain.
We pray, but there seems to be no answer.
We ask, “Where is God in all this?”
But Jesus reminds us:

“Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Matthew 8:26 (NKJV)

Faith is a key to commanding the supernatural.
The Bible says:

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 (NIV)

That means we don’t need great faith to see great things—we just need genuine faith, even if it’s small.

But here’s the question:
How do we exercise faith when everything around us says otherwise?

The answer is: We already do.
We sleep at night fully expecting to wake up—and we do.
That’s faith in action.
We just need to redirect that same faith toward God and what we’re believing Him for.

God is not looking for perfect faith.
He’s looking for faith, the 1% of the 1% is enough for Him to work with.

So today, stir up your faith. Even in the wilderness. Even in the storm.
He is near. He sees. He responds.

What Happens When the Great One Sleeps in Our Boat?

I listened to the story of Jesus sleeping in the boat while His disciples battled a storm in Matthew 8:23-27. I can relate to the disciples, running around in a frenzy, trying to solve the crisis of the storm but only calling out to Jesus as a last resort—once all other options were exhausted. Often, because we fail to call on Him, He simply takes a nap.

When I read the Bible verse, I kept thinking about how Jesus got into the boat with His disciples. How could He go to sleep while all the disciples were awake? The Bible doesn't tell us if He was weary or tired, but it does say:

"Then he got into the boat, and his disciples followed him. A huge storm developed on the lake, with waves crashing into the boat—and Jesus was sound asleep. The disciples went and woke him up, saying, 'Master, save us! We're going down!'"

As a child, whenever my mom would get upset with a neighbor, friend, or colleague, she would say, "I’ll never allow this person into my boat in my next life." My siblings and I would laugh at this.

The boat doesn't just symbolize a physical entity for transportation; it represents her life. To her, allowing certain people into her boat had brought crises along with them.

With our actions, we often tell Him, "I don't need you to reach my business goals or fix my marital crisis. I’m handling my career expectations just fine. I can run my life perfectly without your help." But then, when a storm arises, we, who have let the Master sleep, start searching for ways to wake Him up.

You might have tried every alternative, but have you called on the sleeping Jesus? He may be sound asleep because we've left Him out for so long. He’s found a comfortable spot, just waiting for us to beckon Him.

In those moments you spend praying and interceding, you are waking up the sleeping Jesus.

Is Jesus asleep in your boat? It's time to wake Him up. No matter how sour the situation has gone, have you tried waking the sleeping Jesus?

What It Means to Say "I Am Seeing This Person"? Are you seeing Him?

While listening to my local church pastor during the altar call, I heard the phrase "Jesus wants to see you." In that moment, the Holy Spirit infused those words with life, expanding and resonating deeply in my heart.

As young people, when discussing love interests or friendships, we often say, "I'm seeing this person." When you hear this phrase, what comes to mind? For many, it could mean spending time with someone, getting to know them, hanging out, or even meeting for work or a specific purpose (e.g., "I'm seeing a client"). Others may think of developing a deeper understanding or connection, whether platonic or romantic.

The deeper reality behind these meanings emphasizes that Jesus doesn't just want to see us in a literal sense; He wants to know us intimately and personally.

When we reflect on the statement "Jesus wants to see you," we must ask ourselves: Can He truly see us? There are moments when we might believe His eyes are fixed on us, while our hearts wander elsewhere, perhaps even to another love.

In a relationship, spending quality time together is important to maintain a genuine connection. When was the last time you hung out with Him? When did you last share your life moments, enjoying each other's company? In response, He says, "I stand at the door of your heart; if you hear Me, open the door so I can come in and be with you."
(Revelation 3:20)

The Message (MSG) Bible translation reads: "Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I'll come right in and sit down to supper with you."

In this relationship, He chooses you and prioritizes you above all else. But does Jesus see you? Or have you, perhaps, stepped away from His heart?

When Was the Last Time You Traded with the Great One?

While reading a book on dreams, I came to a profound realization: walking with God is not just a discipline—it is a divine invitation. God continually calls us into deeper purpose.

I remember specific moments when I set aside days each week to wait on the Lord. In those quiet places of prayer, His gentle instructions would come:
"Why don't you extend your fasting period?"
"You could try praying a bit longer."
"You don't really need to respond to that message, you know."

And the directions continued, guiding me through the daily rhythms of life.

One of the earliest times I recognized the Holy Spirit's promptings was during a simple transaction. I needed to transfer money to a neighbor and, as usual, intended to use her old account details. But the Holy Spirit nudged me:
"Why not ask for her current account number instead?"

I dismissed the thought and proceeded as planned. Shortly after the transfer, my neighbor informed me that the account was experiencing network issues. I had to wait longer for confirmation—something that could’ve been avoided had I simply listened.

God constantly places choices before us. He says, “I have set before you life and death—choose life.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
He invites, “Come to me, all who labor...” (Matthew 11:28)
And He assures, “Seek me and you will find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

God longs for us to come—not out of fear, but from a heart that desires to reflect His divine reality in our human experience. He calls us to something greater: a life that transcends mere survival, a life rooted in love, purpose, and partnership with Him.

To every generation, in every season, God extends an open offer:
“Let’s do life together. I know the trade inside out. Yes, there will be losses—but if you walk with Me, the profit will far outweigh the pain.”

He gives us options. He provides counsel. And He still speaks today.

God is asking:
"Will you do business with Me?"
"Will you trade with the Most High?"

Unlike evil spirits that oppress and dominate, Jesus invites. He respects your will and desires your love—not forced obedience.

Too often, we wait for a nightmare, a crisis, a prophecy, or a painful experience before we run to the Great One. But that is not His desire. As the Psalmist beautifully declares in Psalm 23:1–3 (MSG):

God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
You find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to Your word,
You let me catch my breath
And send me in the right direction.

God wants to hold our hand and lead us in the right path. Truly, He desires to be our Shepherd—not just in crisis, but in every step of our daily walk.

Stay revived. Stay aligned. Say yes to His invitation.

Aligned for a Generation

John 1:1 (KJV)

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

From Scripture, we understand that Jehovah existed long before the creation of the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." This teaches us that God existed before "the beginning," in a realm beyond time and creation.

As a child, I often asked, “Where does God live?”
The usual answer was, “He lives in heaven.”
But that puzzled me—if God created the heavens, how could He live in something that didn’t yet exist?

Over time, I came to realize that God exists in a realm where the normal human mind cannot comprehend. He is enthroned there, and the earth is His footstool. God is not bound by our time. He interacts with us according to His divine timing and purpose for our lives.

The book of Jeremiah 1:5 (MSG) says:
"Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you..."

God knows us intimately, beyond what we know of ourselves. He sees us not only as we are, but as He designed us to be before the foundations of the earth. That’s why He continually calls us to align with Him, so He can reveal the specific dimension of our identity that He desires to express through us in each season.

When we walk in alignment with the Holy Spirit, He gives us glimpses, brief or prolonged, of what He can accomplish in us and through us.

I used to think the Lord spoke rarely.
But now I understand: He speaks more often than we realize, just not always in the way or at the time we expect.

If your heart longs to converse with Him, know this: He is always ready to respond.
Sometimes, we ask and feel like there’s no answer—but it’s not that He hasn’t heard. He is waiting for the moment that aligns with His perfect will. He searches the true intentions behind our requests, and when His answer comes, it comes not merely with words, but with purpose, clarity, and undeniable confirmation.

You will know it was the Lord who answered.

There is a divine call to align ourselves with God’s purpose in this season.

The Holy Spirit has stirred the waters.
A window is open.
God is positioning men and women in the marketplace with the cry of a generation burning in their hearts.

Those who rise strong and triumphant will be the ones who align with what God is doing now.
There is life beyond the daily routine.
There is a sacred beauty in setting things right.
We are not here just for ourselves—we are here for a generation.

Our allegiance is to the Lamb.
And He is calling us to align.

Whose Approval Are You Living For?

Take a moment and ask yourself—be honest: Whose approval do you truly seek when making decisions or taking steps in life?

More often than we realize, God gives us clear instructions and patiently waits for our response. Our choice to obey or disobey does not derail His sovereign will—what He has purposed will come to pass. Still, that does not diminish the significance of our obedience. There is something deeper at stake: our alignment with God’s heart and our posture of surrender.

We are called to seek God's approval above all else, not the validation of man.

Consider Moses. When the Israelites grumbled in the wilderness, accusing him of leading them into the desert to die of thirst, Moses cried out to God. The Lord told him to strike the rock once, and water would come forth. But Moses, overwhelmed with frustration, struck the rock more than once. Water still flowed, but his disobedience carried weight.

This moment wasn't just about disobedience in action—it was about a misalignment of heart. There's a crucial difference between willing obedience and reluctant compliance. Partial obedience or delayed obedience is still disobedience. God was inviting Moses to cooperate with Him so that Israel could encounter a new revelation of His nature, as the fountain of living water, faithful and trustworthy.

This is echoed in Jeremiah 2:13 (NIV):

“My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
The spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”

So, again: Whose approval guides your choices? Are you living to walk in step with God's design for your life, or are you shaped more by the opinions of others?

God is inviting us to let go of the burdens, the false identities, and the spiritual clutter we’ve picked up along the way—those things that keep us from being open and real before Him. He calls us to approach Him with vulnerability and reverence—not out of fear, but from a deep awe and trust in who He is.

We are not mere servants working to earn acceptance—we are sons and daughters, welcomed into intimate fellowship. And as sons, we should come to Him daily and ask:
"Lord, help me walk out the life You designed for me."

This transformation into the likeness of Christ doesn’t happen all at once. It unfolds gradually, as we let Him lead, guiding our steps, shaping our desires, and aligning our hearts with His. In that place of surrender, we begin to experience the fullness of life He intended for us all along. God wants you to seek his approval and let him take the lead.

Are You in the Lord's Army?

Growing up, I had two favorite songs: "Oh, When the Saints Go Marching In" and "I'm in the Lord’s Army." This morning, I woke up singing "I'm in the Lord’s Army," and I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be recruited into God's army, an army that we come in when we tarry in the place of prayer, We are soldier recruited in the different section of God's army.

We live in a time when what used to be abnormal is now seen as normal. Morality and true Christianity are often viewed as outdated. But the Lord is calling His army to rise—to stand guard against the schemes of Satan. We are not to be entangled in the web of his demonic strategies, because something powerful is on the horizon. It's being stirred up in the atmosphere, the clouds are getting full.

God is stirring hearts. He’s preparing His people for an outpouring of His Spirit, a rain of revival that will sweep through nations. But for this to happen, He’s asking His soldiers—you and me—to partner with Him.

Romans 13:11–12 (NLT)

"This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here."

The enemy knows what’s coming. That’s why he’s working overtime to capture the minds of our young ones, making them unavailable and unprepared for God’s use. But as soldiers of Christ, we must rise and say no—no to Satan’s tactics, no to his deception, no to his demonic strategies wrapped in distraction and manipulation.

We must stand guard. We must watch over our children and ourselves and align our hearts with God’s direction. We must trust Him, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, to lead this fight and break the hold of hell over God’s people.

The truth is, we were never worthy of His love. But mercy has been poured out over us by the blood of His Son. And now, as redeemed ones, we must be vigilant. We must be watchmen, ensuring that God's plan to rescue souls continues without delay.

This revival will touch nations where Christianity is barely present, places with as little as 2% of believers. God's fire will ignite hearts in high places—leaders and decision-makers—who have the power to shift culture and bring transformation.

So, friends, let’s stay on guard. Let’s take our place in the army of Christ. Let’s stay awake, stay aligned, and stay expectant.

The rain is coming.

Come a Little Closer.

So I used to think the Lord had favourite people. I used to think He loved some people more than others.

But as I read the scripture about Joshua's encounter with the Angel at Jericho, which says in Joshua 5:13–15 (KJV):

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

As I read this, I realized that the Lord deals with us based on our intimacy with Him.

When Joshua encountered Jesus in the Old Testament, he wanted to know if the Lord was on their side or the enemy’s side. But the answer was simple: "Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come."

Here we see that it is our relationship with the Lord that makes Him attend to us faster than anyone else. Intimacy with the Lord sets us up for encounter, and for us to enjoy the realities in God's kingdom.

God is looking for men who will forget their position, their title, and the money they have—just to seek a deeper relationship with Him. All these things are important, but who does your soul belong to? And what does it yearn for?

I’ve come to realise that those who follow God never lose their way.

In the Old Testament, we knew God the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. It was in the New Testament we realized that the Word is Jesus, and He is the Commander of the Lord’s Army. So the theophany Joshua experienced was Jesus.

1 John 5:7 (KJV):
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

He doesn’t pick sides. When He comes, He comes to carry out what He came for, and then He goes.

He is calling us today into the deep waters of His Word. He’s saying, “If only you can come a little closer, then I will show you all you need to know concerning yourself.” And the truth is, we are the ones who benefit from this intimacy with God.

It takes one who has been in bondage to understand what freedom truly offers—and God is offering that freedom to us today through His Son, Jesus.

He is saying: “A little closer... and I will come closer also.”

So make that decision today—to COME.

What Does Faith Mean to You?

What makes faith real to you? Faith has been given various definitions, yet there are moments when I question whether I possess the substance needed to attain the reality I seek.

Today, as I sit watching a movie, I am reminded of the Israelites who left Egypt. They witnessed battles and victories but often fell back into bondage. I found myself asking my sister, "Did these Israelites easily forget?" It didn’t take weeks, months, or years for their past to slip away; they often forgot God’s faithfulness. The currency we need to trade for the reality we desire is not lacking, yet we fail to recognize it.

Today, however, I gained a new perspective on faith. I see it as creating or holding a vivid mental picture of the reality I desire, one that becomes stronger than the opposing circumstances surrounding me. So as I approach God, I come with the intention to reclaim my purpose.

Defeat can stem from the many bonds we've faced. Sometimes, after being bound for so long, we fail to see what God is trying to do. I trust that God has a plan to bring us to the Promised Land. We have witnessed His abilities—His signs and wonders—but we most time still struggle to muster the strength to envision the end, the Canaan that God desires for us. Exodus (The Exodus)

Today, let us not only thank God for the victories we have won, but also ask for the strength and courage we need to birth the reality He intends for us. Carry with you the conviction that faith is a powerful mental picture of the future we desire. As JJ said, when God wants to raise seers and prophets, He first works on their minds, for every picture He shows us is a reality that needs to be birthed or altered.

For too long, the enemy has held our minds captive. When the Lord declared, "Without your transformed mind, I can do nothing," He understood that the negotiations we must make, the history He wants to change, and the battles to be won all begin in the mind.

When these words resonated in my heart, I asked the Holy Spirit to work on my mind. Though I may not have lived for a hundred years, the time I have spent has brought experiences of hurt, rejection, failure, slander and victories. As I become vulnerable to God, He performs a miraculous work—He heals my soul and renews my mind. Without a transformed mind, He can do nothing.

I Kept Wondering: At What Point Did We Lose Our Freedom?

I Kept Wondering: At What Point Did We Lose Our Freedom?

At what point do we forget the name of God?

At what point do we forget how to lay hold of the Great One?

At what point do we forget to search Him out?

At what point did the enemy creep in and bind us?

At what point can we be made prey to the enemy's toys? At what point do those toys become our god?

These thoughts crept into my mind a few nights ago. After watching a movie about Moses, I conversed with JJ, who asked, “But how did these once-great people become slaves? How did they get to the point where taskmasters were placed over them?”

I replied with a biblical reference: “A Pharaoh who didn’t know Joseph and all he did for Egypt arose.” But then I wondered, what if it wasn't just the Pharaoh who forgot Joseph? What if the Israelites also forgot who their God is? Yes, they knew that their forefathers had a God; they kept talking about going to worship Him. But what if they had forgotten that this God could be their source of everything? Because they forgot, the enemy laid claim/stole their freedom through the mouth of Pharaoh.

Bondage doesn’t just come upon a person; one becomes bound when they stray from that which makes them free. God's Word in John 8:36 states:

"So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

However, when we lay low and forget how to engage with the Son of Man, we forget how to trade with Him. The enemy doesn’t just sow tares; he claims our freedom.

While men slept, the enemy sowed tares. When we thought that our character didn’t matter, the enemy seized that opportunity to plant seeds that would bind our marriages, our businesses, our children, our ministries, and our ability to transition between seasons.

Because we slept and forgot how to do business with the Great One—the one who has the ability to keep us free— we began to play with foreign objects and succumbed to the tricks of the serpent's spirit, telling ourselves it didn’t matter. We convinced ourselves that we were on the right path.

But there is only one way: Jesus. We must choose His way to truly know whether our path will lead to freedom or bondage.

Nighttime Victories

I had a profound conversation with a very respected head of my unit in church. During our discussion, he mentioned a person he knew who had interceded for hours over the years. He concluded by saying, "You can see the result of his secret place in his life; it is quite evident." Those particular words planted a seed in my heart and marked the beginning of a new season for me—a fresh call to deep waters. It felt as though the Lord had ordained those words for my own victory.

Unable to navigate the afternoon, my nighttime began to transform into my time of seeking. At first, it began as mere human effort, but suddenly, the floodgates opened. Even during moments when I wanted to sleep through the night, it seemed the Lord had been waiting for me to start this journey. Much like Moses, who climbed Mount Sinai after years of being a shepherd, I began to encounter the Lord at this mount, and that was when my liberation started. Once liberated, my mandate unfolded.

Just as my summons became a communion, there were moments when it felt like a choir was being held within me, prompting me to arise to this communion. The Lord wants us to stray; in the beginning, it might just be our strength, but He takes it from there, granting us victories in unexpected places. The more I showed up, pressed in, and sought Him, the more I was being freed from strongholds I never knew existed.

I had waited so long for victory, but as I came to the Lord daily in this nighttime season, He worked in me, one victory after another. At exactly three a.m., I felt these words in my heart: "While men slept, the enemy sowed tares."

Matthew 13:25:

"But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away."

This isn't just a saying; it's a reality. There are victories to be claimed at the gates of the night, if only we would rise up and lay hold of them. In that moment, we can seize the enemy before he even attempts an attack.

God wants to reach out to you, but He is waiting for you at the gates of Adullam. There are tares to be uprooted, and there are victories to be won.

Don’t Give Up Yet — God Is Working Behind the Scene

Have you ever poured your heart and soul into something, set everything up just right, only to feel like your efforts were in vain? Maybe you’ve done all you know to do, and yet the results you hoped for haven’t come. The silence, the waiting, and the lack of visible progress can feel defeating.

If that’s where you are, take heart. It’s okay to feel low sometimes, but don’t allow that feeling to define your journey. Just because you haven’t seen the fruit of your labor yet doesn’t mean the harvest isn’t coming. Even when it’s not visible, God is always at work, behind the scenes, aligning things in your favor.

There are moments when we pray and wait, and still feel like heaven is silent. Our challenges seem endless, and the answers feel delayed. But the truth remains: the Lord is never idle. His timing is perfect. What you’re waiting for will come to pass in His appointed time.

So, don’t give up yet.

I may not know the specifics of your journey—how long you’ve been holding on, how many doors have closed, or how much it feels like time is slipping away. Perhaps others seem further ahead. Still, friend, I urge you: don’t quit now.

The journey may be painful. It might have left you weary and questioning. But hear this: God is saying, “I will work it out.” It's not the end. Hold fast. Wait on Him.

“Real help comes from the Lord.” — Psalm 3:8 (MSG)

Waiting isn’t easy. God’s timetable often stretches our faith. But those who refuse to grow weary in the wait will one day rejoice. His Word promises, “Those who wait upon the Lord shall be like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved.” (Psalm 125:1)

Be encouraged.

Don’t give up yet. God is near. He’s working all things together for your good. And in due season, your laughter will be heard in the open.

Fixing Life’s Puzzle with the Holy Spirit

As we piece together the puzzle of life, we begin to realize that every step and challenge we face shapes our relationship with God. These experiences draw us into deeper communion, where we learn to depend more fully on Him.

The Holy Spirit is always present, helping and guiding us through the process. Sometimes we think we’ve put the pieces together correctly, and in our eyes, it looks right. But when it's not truly aligned with God’s plan, it doesn't just fit. At these moments, the Holy Spirit gently leads us to retrace our steps and fix what isn’t fitting.

In those moments, we might wonder, “Why didn’t I see this?” It’s not about lacking intelligence or skill. The Spirit allows us to go through certain paths to teach us that life isn’t about doing things our way but about surrendering to God’s direction.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5 6 (NIV)

Vulnerability is key in this journey. When we become open and honest before God, He meets us via his grace. He invites us to run to Him, not in shame, but in trust, and helps us overcome what we cannot fix on our own.

We must ask the Lord daily to guide us through this journey. On our own, we are weak, but with Him, we are strengthened. Though the process of fixing life’s puzzle can be tiring and painful at times, the presence of the Holy Spirit empowers us to not only fit the right pieces together but also see the full picture of where God is taking us.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
Romans 8:26 (NIV)

This journey is not merely about solving problems—it’s about aligning with God’s eternal purpose and trusting His Spirit to guide us through every piece.

Stay Persistent: The Story of David and the Power of Endurance

How often do we truly persist in believing in God's will to come to pass?

How convinced are we of God's presence when we face intense resistance, so much that we begin to question if God even spoke in the first place?

David is a good example of this kind of scenario. He knew he was anointed by God to be king, yet his journey was filled with trials. The enemy had thought David would remain a simple shepherd boy, tending sheep in the fields, never rising beyond that. But God had chosen him and anointed him.

Despite knowing he was destined to be king, David didn’t take matters into his own hands. Even when he had opportunities to eliminate Saul, he refused. He entered Saul’s palace not as a rival, but as a servant. All of this was part of God’s plan. But the enemy wanted David gone, because he could see the long-term vision God had—one that extended far beyond David’s lifetime. Through David’s bloodline, Jesus would come. And so, the attacks were relentless using different channels.

“But David thought to himself, ‘One of these days I will be destroyed by the hand of Saul.’” —1 Samuel 27:1

Even David’s own son Absalom sought to kill him.

“Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, ‘Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom.’” —2 Samuel 15:14

It would have been easy for him to give in to this discouragement. And yes, there were moments of sorrow. But David never stayed down for long. The Bible tells us that he would rise again, washed, dressed, perfumed, and ready for what came next.

“Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped.” —2 Samuel 12:20

Being anointed doesn’t exempt us from challenges. But it is our consistency and persistent seeking of God’s face that keeps us aligned with His will and strengthens us to endure.

Friends, in God’s Kingdom, we are called to live supernaturally. But that life doesn’t arrive on a silver platter—we birth it through prayer, through consistent faith, and through unwavering persistence.

David was anointed to be king, but even his own people—Saul, Absalom, Sheba (Bicri)—sought to destroy him.

“A troublemaker named Sheba son of Bicri, a Benjamite, happened to be there. He sounded the trumpet and shouted, ‘We have no share in David…’” —2 Samuel 20:1

Still, God continued to show up for him.

“The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.” —2 Samuel 8:6

So let this be your reminder: being anointed is not a call to ease, but to persistent obedience. its a time to stay faithful in your walk of faith, in your actions, and in your daily pursuit of God.

Your Empty Slates Versus God's Word

How do you feel whenever you are met with a clean slate?

The first thing I do when I get a new book is take it under my nose and inhale its smell. Most of the time, I try to avoid writing in it, forgetting that I only need a new book because the previous one has been used up.

Often, I am left with two choices: continue from my previous notes or start a fresh topic. We might face this reality as we navigate life, the challenge of what to do with an empty slate. When that much-anticipated empty slate arrives, instead of fidgeting about what not to do or what to do or simply filling it up with a continuation of my previous work, I can choose to embark on something new.

Each day, in every moment, God invites us to come to Him. We do not need to present a finished product; He has already crafted a thoughtful strategy for you and me. To lay claim to that plan, we must approach Him.

Beloved, you may have labored through the first, second, third, and maybe the fourth month, and now here you are in the fifth month, feeling as though you're putting money into pockets with holes. Yet, God gives us one simple word: "Come."

Matthew 11:28 says
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

 Isaiah 1:18 says:
"Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

There is so much more God wants to give us if only we could come.

In this month, you don't need to fully grasp or understand the situation. All you must do is make one choice: "Come." Draw near to the River that has never run dry.

What Kind of Package Does Christianity Offer?

Have you ever wondered how much God wants to offer us? What parts of our lives does He wish to influence and affect?

While strolling through my WhatsApp page, I paused at a discussion that an acquaintance had raised: "It’s often advised to marry someone who loves God. While this principle holds value, being spiritual doesn’t necessarily equate to having good character. Fasting or praying can enrich your spiritual journey, but it may not address negative behaviors". I paused at this, and for a long time, I meditated on what really is loving God when we don't allow Him to ride on everything we are.

God doesn’t just want to provide us with a reality that allows us to thrive as winners; the new creation He proposes beckons us to walk with the Holy Spirit, who will show us the path of life.
According to Psalm 16:11, which says:
"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

This path is not merely about spiritual growth, business success, or career advancement. Instead, it entails doing everything in the right way to become true ambassadors of the cross.

There have been moments when I found myself in arguments with neighbors, family members, or colleagues. I often wanted to have the last word and to assert my voice. I would speak my mind clearly, unwilling to be dismissed. As I grew in my walk with God, I would sometimes feel a nudging to "don’t say anything." In those moments, I would think, "Let whatever happens, happen." I would even ignore the inner prompt to stop watching certain movies, leading to issues caused by my disobedience. However, as we grow with the Holy Spirit, He teaches us how to follow peace with all people. He understands our struggles with keeping the old man in check and desires to guide us into all truth.

There is a truth for a successful marriage, a truth for a thriving business, and a truth for building relationships. But the question is: Are we ready to allow the Holy Spirit to constrain us? To speak through our tongues, to guide our feet, to urge us to run, to turn a blind eye to certain situations, and to help us truly live and breathe in Him?

Many of the biblical parables Jesus told begin with "The kingdom of God is like..."—whether it’s a man who entrusted talents to his servants, the unwise virgins who went ahead without oil, or the prodigal son who thought he could find his own way. Each story illustrates that the kingdom of God demands a certain lifestyle. The kingdom is not just a place; it is a posture we adopt to allow Jesus to live through us, to transcend mere provision, and to work in and through us.

Will you give the Holy Spirit a chance to work in you?
