How do you cope with toxicity?

Revived and Restored: I Came Out Strong.

Have you ever felt like you're going through a tough time and you're not sure how to come out on top?

We all face challenges, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But here's the thing: we're not alone in this feeling or in our struggles.

I recently had a conversation with a family member who was struggling with a toxic work environment. She felt hurt and frustrated and wasn't sure if God had a bigger plan for her. I could relate to how she was feeling. Dealing with overwhelming situations can suck out not just our strength but also joy from us.

But as I was reflecting on our conversation, the Holy Spirit reminded me of Joseph's story. Joseph's story is a powerful reminder that God is always working everything out for our good, even when things seem tough.

Despite growing up in a toxic home environment, Joseph remained faithful and trusting in God. His brothers' hatred and jealousy didn't define him; instead, he focused on his dreams and God's plan for his life.

Genesis 37:4 says, "When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than them, they grew to hate him. They wouldn't even speak to him."

Joseph's life was marked by challenges, but he never lost faith. He knew that God was working everything out for his good.

As I searched for moments where Joseph complained or cursed those who wronged him, I realized that his conviction and trust in God were stronger than his circumstances.

Joseph knew something that we hadn't known. He saw the dreams God showed him as more real than his situation. Joseph's source of strength was God, and he focused on the big picture.

What if Potiphar's wife was part of God's plan to give Joseph the needed experience?

What if Joseph's imprisonment was God's way of saying, "It's time for a new season"?

The enemy may have thought he was ruining Joseph's life, but God was working everything out for his good and was using their conniving plot and plan to push Joseph to become. Joseph came out strong.

God wants us to come out strong, even during challenges. He wants us to trust in His plan and focus on the big picture. As we navigate life's difficulties, let's remember that God is always with us, working everything out for our good.

May we encounter the same light and joy that gave Joseph strength during his darkest moments.

Stay strong!

Stay Revived!
