Fire built in a place of consistency.

Very recently, a close relative was microwaving when a cockroach suddenly ran out of the oven. It was unexpected, but it triggered a reflection: When we remain consistently on fire for the Lord, He causes the hidden things—things that shouldn't be within us—to be exposed and brought out.

In this moments  the Lord desires that we be honest with ourselves—honest enough to acknowledge what He reveals within us. But honesty alone is not enough; we must put strategies in place to ensure these things do not return and it is to be on fire always.

The fire of God represents many things. It can be:

• His Presence and His Glory – “The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire…” (Exodus 24:17); “For the Lord your God is a consuming fire…” (Deuteronomy 4:24).
• His Judgment and Vengeance – “The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them” (Psalm 21:9); “Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them… the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy” (Zephaniah 1:18).

The presence of God brings liberty—a freedom that cannot be known unless it has been truly encountered. When people say, “There is light at the end of the tunnel,” it’s often a sign of recognizing God’s presence in situatons that seems dark and his glory in form of a light at the e d of the tunnel. When we draw nearer to Him, He begins to release His presence in portions, preparing us to eventually walk in His fullness.

Yes, we may not fully know God until we meet Him in eternity, but He longs to reveal deeper dimensions of His glory to those who sincerely desire His presence to lead and guide them.

The fire of the Lord manifests in different ways:

• It can instruct—like when Moses encountered the burning bush.
• It can guide—as it did for the Israelites on their way to the Promised Land.
• It can purify, consume, or judge—depending on what God desires to accomplish.

God is Sovereign. His fire, His presence, His instructions—they all work together. When we begin to recognize that in Him is the beginning, then we also understand that He is the Author of fire itself; its purpose, power, and purity.

The enemy fears a man or woman who carries this fire, because he knows it has the power to consume, expose, sort, and judge.

So friends, pray. Ask the Holy Spirit—the greatest strategist—to help you encounter and sustain a consistent flow of God's fire in your life.

Shalom Shalom – Uninterrupted Divine Peace

 

And may the Lord give you Shalom Shalom. A while back, I attended an online service, and this was their closing charge. I was familiar with hearing “shalom,” but the emphasis—"shalom shalom"—stood out. I thought it simply meant "peace upon peace," but when I searched deeper into the Hebrew meaning, I discovered it signifies complete, divine peace.

At every point in our lives, the enemy fashions his most potent weapon—unrest and distress—against us. I’ve noticed that whenever I dedicate time to bless the Lord and seek Him, I often face situations that challenge my peace of mind. In those moments, rather than focusing on God, my attention shifts to the very things trying to rob my peace.

That’s the enemy’s strategy: "Oh, she’s gaining strength in consecration—let’s take away her peace." It often starts subtly—a mistake, a misunderstanding, something not even your fault—yet it steals your focus and fills your day with distractions. Suddenly, instead of seeking God’s face for direction, your prayers become pleas for strength and calm.

He attacks our peace because with joy, we draw from the wells of salvation (Isaiah 12:3). And joy is tied to peace.

But today, choose to take the posture of Shalom Shalom. It’s not something we can create on our own—we’re up against the devices of the crafty—but we can draw divine peace from the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. Even when life feels chaotic and loud, we can fix our minds on God, because His Word says:

"You will keep him in perfect peace (shalom shalom), whose mind is stayed on You..."  

— Isaiah 26:3

Are you worried about meeting the needs of your home or family? God promises you divine peace. Even when the enemy throws bombs at your marriage, God is saying, "I will keep you in perfect peace—just focus on Me and My Word."

And as we face today’s pressures and anxieties, God says: "I’ve got a package you can access." It may not instantly end the sickness or the business crisis, but it provides a covering for your mental, emotional, and spiritual health—a covering of complete, divine peace.

May God’s Shalom Shalom be your compass in every aspect—body, mind, soul, and surroundings.

May these words be more than just a greeting. May they be the key that unlocks a door of blessing.

Has God said...

Recently, I came to a moment where I reflected on the personal word that God spoke to me and how I have come to live by it. Has God ever given you a personal word? Or perhaps, while studying scripture, certain verses jumped out at you and resonated deeply? Yet, after those words come forth, you might still find yourself searching for the meaning behind them. The truth is, these moments stir within us a desire to birth a reality and possibility that can only manifest through God. After pressing into Him, we often hear just one word—or if we are lucky, a sentence, or even fragments of sentences.

As I woke from a deep sleep, I fell again into a lighter sleep, and I experienced what I can only describe as an open vision. In that moment, I heard God saying to me, "You will not lose your way." At first, I didn’t pause to reflect; I simply woke up and continued praying about something else. However, shortly after, I made a drastic decision and found myself thrown into a turbulence of emotions. Days later, during prayer, the words resonated again: "You will not lose your way"  

Deuteronomy 31:8 became my key verse:

Whatever it is we have heard and seen in God's word, just like an African praise and worship song says, "That settles it." 

As long as God has spoken, He has made every provision available. So, when you face the wall, you will either see it crumble, or you will cross over it with the help of The Great One.

Lift Up Your Hands — Heaven Responds

A close relative recently shared a dream with me. It may have seemed like just a dream, but it carried a clear revelation of the enemy’s strategy—and God’s instruction for the season.

She said, “We will pray about it.”
So we left for church.

During praise and worship, the minister raised a song that went:
“Put your hands in the air, I see favor in the air.”

As I lifted my hands in worship, I heard the Holy Spirit whisper:
“Fight, and you will win.”

Immediately, my mind went to the story of Moses in Scripture, during the battle with the Amalekites.
Whenever Moses' hand was raised, Israel prevailed. When his hands dropped, the enemy prevailed. And so it became clear—our hands are not ordinary.
They are the outstretched arms of the hand of God.
When the Lord lifts His hand, it’s not to dance—it’s to take action and to exercise power.

Exodus 15:3
“The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name.”

Exodus 15:6
“Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power;
Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.”

God is still in the business of fighting for His people.
When we lift our hands in prayer or worship, we are not simply making a gesture—we are inviting the Lord to step in and take over the battle.

In this second half of the year, I bring you a gentle but urgent reminder:
Stir the heavens with prayer. Let God raise His hand on your behalf.

Remember the Battle with Amalek

The Bible records in Exodus 17:10–13:

So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek.
And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it.
And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

Moses raised his hands—and victory came.
But now, we have the Lord Himself living in us.
When we lift our hands, we are not just lifting flesh—we are engaging the Mighty Man of War.

The Bible says we are surrounded by an innumerable company of angels (Hebrews 12:22).
So when we war in prayer and lift up holy hands, heaven and angels awaits the instruction we want to give.
When our hands are lifted in obedience, the Lord takes over the fight.

In this season, may your spirit remain sensitive.
When the Lord prompts you to lift up your hand, know this:
It is not just your hand that is raised—it is God’s hand of divine intervention.

And just like in the days of Moses,
as long as the hand of the Lord is lifted in your camp—you will not be defeated.
