Keys to activate the miraculous

I woke up with this song in my spirit,

"There is a miracle in this room, and it has my name onit! There is a blessing in this room, and it's got my name on it! There is a breakthrough in this room, and it's got my name on it! There is a healing in this room, and it's got my name on it!

Today, God is ready to hand over to you a miracle according to his seasons about your life. The enemy may have sent challenges that made you feel discouraged and left you on the floor, but it's time to get up and take charge!

His word says for sure challenges will come, but there is a victory assurance, so stand up from the floor and take your miracle!

To tap into this miracle,

  1.  Turn to praise & worship: Praise and worship are tools to shut the enemy down. You can't triumph until you learn to praise and worship. Paul and Silas used this tool for victory over the prison when they praised (Acts 16:25). The challenges of life have no timeline, but there's a need for you to use the tools we have in our disposal to defeat him as he comes. So, roll up your sleeves and worship; praise your way out!
  2. Service to God: To achieve greatness in God's kingdom, you must be willing to serve. Service to our family, service to God, service to humanity - laziness is an error in God's kingdom. You need to roll yourself to the side and decide to serve. Service activates you for the miraculous, so serve with your time, resources, gifts, finance, and everything you have in your disposal. When you serve with your body and get sick, you can easily go back to God and tell Him (2 Kings 20:1-6, Isaiah 38:1-5). When Hezekiah got the message from the prophet that he would die, the Bible says Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying, "Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly, and he received his miracle. Your service can stand as a proof when you go to God requesting for something
  3. Keep your faith alive: To get a miracle and live victoriously, you must keep your faith alive (James 3:1-9). Whatever can shake your faith, do away with it.

Be positive, bridle your tongue, because our life is the product of the seeds sown with our words. God's word says, "As a man thinks in his heart, so he is" (Proverbs 23:7). You can't be better or greater than your mindset.

God's miracle for us aligns with what has been written about us in his word, He sits and awaits our yes.

Would you say yes to him today?

Refuse to do nothing for a miracle; get up and do something! Get up from that floor; you've been there for too long. It's time to activate and take your miracles!

God is set, heaven is ready, but are you ready to receive?

Understanding God’s Timing Through the Life cycle of the Butterfly.

While in secondary school, I was the school regulator, which allowed me to oversee academic activities and develop a sense of time consciousness and attention to detail. This experience has instilled in me a strong sense of time management, as I now tend to time my activities carefully.

The concept of timing in God's kingdom is beautifully illustrated in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, which reminds us that there is a specific time for everything that God has ordained. Each season serves a purpose, and life unfolds according to divine timing—not by chance. We cannot force God's hand, as He is not absent-minded about our life's journey. Life is in stages and men are in their different seasons of growth.

The butterfly lifecycle is an education every Nigerian born in the '90s meets in school. I marvel at the concept of stages and timing. God puts so much effort into creating the egg, caterpillar, larva and eventually, the butterfly. If He takes such care in creating these creatures, how much more attention will He give to us, who are made in His own image?

Even God rested after creation, demonstrating the importance of timing.

The Butterfly Lifecycle: A Metaphor for Growth

The butterfly undergoes complete metamorphosis, which involves four stages that occur at different times:

1. Egg stage: This stage can be compared to the birth of a person, crawling, sitting, and standing. It is during this stage that we make a conscious decision to dedicate our lives to Christ, which activates us to fulfill our purpose according to God's timing. Jeremiah 1:5 ''Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you''...

2. Caterpillar stage: This stage is characterized by feeding and growth. We are nourished by God's word, and we invest in our personal development, spiritual life, and prayers. God, like a potter, works on our person, shaping us into the individuals He wants us to become. Although the caterpillar has the potential to become a butterfly, it must wait for the perfect time to transform.

If God were to let us go too soon, we might be overwhelmed by challenges. Instead, He prepares us by putting us through situations that help us discover our strengths and weaknesses. He prunes us, just as a gardener prunes a tree. The food eaten during this stage is stored and used later as an adult, reminding us that every deposit has a story and is required when we need it.

3. Pupa stage: This is the transition stage, where it may seem like nothing is happening. We may feel like God has forgotten us, and our hearts may be filled with doubts. However, God is always working, even when we cannot see it. During this stage, the butterfly's legs and wings are formed, preparing it for flight.

4. Adult stage: In this final stage, God brings everything to pass according to His timing. Waiting can be exhausting, but we can take comfort in knowing that victory is sure, and God is always with us. When the time is right, everything flows with ease, and we can soar to new heights.

From the different stages of growth of the butterfly, we can see how conscious and timely God is in bringing something beautiful out of our lives. You may not look like it or see it, but God is working even in the shadows, being intentional about our growth. In the right time, He will bring it to pass. God's time is perfect; He is never late or early. He is always on time, and His timing is essential for our growth and transformation.

Ecclesiastes 3:11(NKJV)He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

I could count a thousand things I planned on achieving at these times, but I have come to understand that there are no lost years in God.

Wake up and Pray: A call for action.

One night, I was jolted awake by my mom's urgent voice, "JJ madam wake up....

Wake up and start praying!"

I consider it a blessing when you have a praying Mother, that way you have whom to learn praying from.

Some weeks back I wondered how I learned to pray and why I continue to pray even when words seem insufficient.

Growing up in a Nigerian home, I was blessed with a mom who attended all programs and crusades that is tagged with miracle, healing and deliverance. While I enjoyed these spiritual and personal development activities, I knew that going from one church to another wasn't for me.

There was these hunger for a personal relationship with God which this Nigerian constant deliverance ministries didn't satisfy.

So, I embarked on a salvation and revelation journey with Christ, relying on God's word to guide me.

In Acts 10:34-35, Peter says, "God shows no partiality. But in every nation, whoever fears Him and does righteousness is accepted by Him." I am accepted by God, and as a royal priesthood and holy nation, I am called to commune with Him.

Galatians 3:28 reminds us that God's plan is for all people, not just a select few: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." While we each have unique calls and assignments, God desires to connect with every one of us, and it's in Him that we find meaning and purpose in life.

I encourage you to discover God for yourself. Listen to messages, read books, and download resources from trusted sites. As you grow in your knowledge of God's person, learn to consistently obey His instructions, which are designed to keep you from harm and give you an expected end."

God is that father stretching out a hand to the child and expecting in return for us to take this hand.

Would you accept God's hand stretched out to you Today?

"Reflect, Recharge, Restart: Your November guide to Reflecting on Growth and Renewing Your Resolutions"

Hey there!

Can you believe it's already November 1st? The year is flying by, and before we know it, we'll be welcoming a brand new one.

Remember those New Year's resolutions you made back in January? "I'll get an MBA, certifications, and cut down on sugar." "I'll land my dream job and be happy." Take a moment to reflect on how far you've come.

Reflect

Be honest with yourself – what did you achieve? What didn't quite work out? Don't worry; it's not about beating yourself up over what didn't happen. It's about acknowledging your progress and identifying areas for improvement.

Take stock of your blessings and accomplishments. Think about how far you've come since January. You've won, you've lost, but most importantly, you've grown.

Recharge

It's time to prioritize self-care for stable mental health and personal growth. Here are some tips:

  • Forgive and let go of resentment.
  • Get your health in order; eat healthy.
  • Spend time alone reflecting and being thankful.
  • Spend quality time with friends and family.
  • Seek God's guidance to end the year well.

Restart

It's not too late to get back on track! Dust off those neglected goals and make a conscious effort to achieve them. (Habakkuk 2:2-3: "And the Lord answered me, and said, 'Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'")

Write down what you’ve ignored and start fresh. Want to:

  • Write that book?
  • Start that channel?
  • Take that course?
  • Launch that business?

Remember, growth requires stepping out of your comfort zone.

You Are Responsible for Your Growth

Take ownership of your progress and make intentional decisions to achieve your goals.

As the year winds down, stay positive. It's not you that's ending; it's just the year.

Reflect, recharge, and restart. You got this!
