THE END THAT SEEMS LIKE A BEGINNING

Whenever I sit down to watch a movie, the moment the characters round off the action and "The End" appears on the screen, I instinctively switch off the device or move on to the next film.
But today, while meditating on the story of Daniel, the Holy Spirit highlighted something profound: what looked like the end for Daniel was actually the beginning of something greater.

If Daniel’s story had ended with his captivity (Daniel 1:1–6), we would never have known the man God raised up as a result of his consecration and faithfulness.
Just like many movies that end with *“To be continued…” or a teaser line like “Merlin will be back”, God also writes comeback stories.

Your captivity is not the end.
It might just be the beginning of a powerful series—a journey of faith, tests, and divine lifting.

Daniel’s life teaches us that:
- You can have deep faith and still face lions (Daniel 6:16–23).
- You can walk with God and still go through fire (Daniel 3:19–27).
- You can love God and still be threatened with death.

But none of these experiences change God’s love or His commitment to you (Romans 8:35–39).

Every time life tries to write “The End” over your story, by faith, you can replace it with:
“To be continued… by God.”

If Jesus' story didn’t end in the grave but rose in victory (Luke 24:6–7), then that’s your cue: your story isn’t over either.
A victorious chapter awaits if you will stay with the Lord.

Yes, these words may sound familiar. You may have heard them over and over.
But during a prayer session, JJ said something simple yet eternal:
“Jesus is the answer.”

And it’s true.

Life will always ask questions—through pain, rejection, fear, failure, doubt, sickness, divorce, famine, war, poverty...

But can we respond with trust?

Jesus is the answer.
And through Him—you are a vessel of that answer.

Jesus is the answer.

Thanksgiving for all He has done.

As the year gradually comes to a close, it is important that we pause and thank God for how far He has helped us.
“Thus far the Lord has helped us”
 1 Samuel 7:12.

When we give thanks, we open ourselves to deeper insight, align ourselves for breakthroughs, and prepare our hearts for more in the coming year. Thanksgiving is not just an act—it is a lifestyle God desires from us as His children.

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”
 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

We may not yet be where we want to be, but surely we are not where we used to be. “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it” (Philippians 1:6). And the very fact that you are here today is proof that the Lord is interested in you and intentional about your journey.

So, as the year winds up, do not forget the Scripture that says: “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever” (Psalm 107:1).
For His mercy, for His goodness, and for how He has led us from day one until today, we lift our voices in praise. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103:2). We raise a shout of hallelujah and say thank You to the Lord who reigns forever. “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever” (Psalm 45:6).

Merry Christmas:The Joy that Christmas brings.

I happen to be a lover of Christmas. It is my favourite season of all time. Yet, despite my love for this season, I went to bed last night with a heavy heart.
As I woke up, I was reminded of a powerful truth: the joy of the Lord is not dependent on our situation, but on the state of our minds and hearts. This realisation brought calm and clarity to my soul.
Beloved, today may not look like what you hoped for or expected. Plans may not have worked out the way you imagined. Yet, we must remember this—Joy came down many years ago, and His name is Jesus. In Him, true joy is found.
This joy is not dependent on what we have, what we get, or what we accomplish. It is rooted in what He freely gives—a joy that remains steady even when circumstances are uncertain.
On this day, I pray that the joy of this season will never depart from your heart. May the good Lord cause His joy and peace to dwell with you now and forever.

Amen

The Best Option

There’s this Igbo praise song we often sing in my local assembly. It says: "Omema, You can do no wrong."
As I stirred from my bed this morning, replaying the Christmas story in my heart, all that came to mind was this: God chose the best option.

“For God so loved ‘Ese’ that He gave His only begotten Son…”— and all He asked was that we believe in Him so we won’t perish.
(John 3:16 - paraphrased)

God gave us His best to prove the depth of His love. He could have sent an angel or a heavenly elder — that would’ve been easier, less costly. But no — He gave Jesus. He gave Himself.

This season isn’t just about the food, the dancing, or the carols. It’s about pausing to reflect on the gift of the best option.
If God gave His best to redeem me, it proves I am deeply loved — and that’s the truth He wants me (and you) to live in.

So rather than fixate on our losses, shortcomings, or even the festivities, can our hearts focus on this truth?
That the Lord gave us His very best.

And He still says to you:
"Come to Me. I have a place for you right here. I won’t break your heart. I have a plan not to squeeze you into something small, but to cast you as a major character in Heaven’s unfolding story."

But here’s the question:
Do you believe that I’m for you?
Do you believe I can give you a reality that amazes even the gates of hell?

God wants you to birth seeds that crush the head of the serpent.
But do you believe that His greatest gift — His best option — came to us in the form of a Child, a Son, a Savior… Jesus?

Jesus wants to love you.
And yes, this season is about love, laughter, and joy — but Jesus is the summary of it all.

Do you believe?

The System of New Creation

Galatians 6:17 says:
“From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.”
This scripture responds directly to Galatians 6:16, which declares a blessing and a plea:
“And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.”

What is the rule?
It is the rule of the new creation—the rule that acknowledges we have been bought with a price, and that price is blood. Not just any blood, but the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is salvation. He died so that we might be saved. Therefore, we must admit that we are sinners and receive the salvation He freely gives. Jesus is not merely the One who gives peace—He is peace Himself.

So when Paul says, “Let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus,” he is pointing to the mark Christ bore for our peace. Yet we cannot walk in the fullness of this peace until we come into the reality of the new creation.
This is the life described in Ephesians 4:22–24:
“Put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man… be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
Holiness and righteous living cannot be achieved by human effort alone. No one can truly say they are holy unless they are born of God.
Beloved, I bring you good news today: the new creation is the way to see the hand of God.
You are never too late to come to Him. You may be deep in trouble—burdened by debt, chaos, or sorrow—but God is deeply in love with you and fully aware of your pain. He is saying, “Come to Me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest.”
Today, I invite you into the system of the new creation—the system called Jesus Christ.

Do not release gas but fire.

In a system where criticism gives people joy and adds feathers to their caps, the Lord is calling us to watch out. We live in a culture where people glory in how they are “better” than others—especially when it comes to laws and righteous living—not because they truly love righteousness, but because they want to project a certain image in society.
This is why the Apostle Paul warns the Galatians: be careful. The world always finds a way to impose its strategies on people. It often does this through organized systems, conversations, and teachings that sound logical, correct, and convincing. Yet, in reality, they are empty—they are gas.
Why follow a law or system that exists mainly to boast in the fact that it has recruited you?
Paul addresses this clearly in Galatians 6:11–12 (MSG):
“Now, in these last sentences, I want to emphasize in the bold scrawls of my personal handwriting the immense importance of what I have written to you. These people who are attempting to force the ways of circumcision on you have only one motive: They want an easy way to look good before others, lacking the courage to live by a faith that shares Christ’s suffering and death. All their talk about the law is gas. They themselves don’t keep the law! And they are highly selective in the laws they do observe. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast of their success in recruiting you to their side. That is contemptible!”
Do not be so busy attending every program, saying yes to everyone, and trying to please every church system that you forget the work is unto God. Take time to genuinely connect with Him. Know Him deeply.
Do not release gas—release fire.
Let your life be one rooted in the reality of the new creation through Christ’s death. Live to please the Master, Jesus. Let your goal not be public approval, but divine approval. If God is pleased, that is all that truly matters.

Let your life not release gas instead of fire.

"Let Me Get You a Message from the One Who Is the Message"

I decided to test my rapping skills, but while washing my hands at the kitchen sink, I found myself pondering:
"Lord, what do You want to say to me today?”
Then these words dropped into my heart—a message from the Message.

To us who have designated this season to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we don’t just look at Him as the messenger,  but rather, we’ve come to discover that Je is the Message.

John 1:14 (KJV):
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... full of grace and truth."

Here’s the reality: when decoding conversations, the message often gets distorted along the line of transmission. Something gets added, or something is lost. But Jesus wasn’t just a messenger from God—He is the message God gave to mankind, calling us to make a U-turn back to Him.

What have we done with the message we’ve been given?
From Genesis to Revelation, the words of the Old and New Testaments celebrate His coming and declare a message of peace:

Luke 2:10 (KJV):
"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

Christmas, growing up for me, meant new clothes and shoes, camp meetings, and the delicious meals I looked forward to all year.

But think about it…
Do we throw parties and not invite the celebrant?
Do we host events and not give the spotlight to the One who is the reason for it all?

How have we cast the spotlight?

God is saying to us today:
""It is a message of glad tidings I bring."

So when we remember the name Jesus, it’s not just the name of a divine being—it’s a message of:
Peace
Joy
Rest
Fruitfulness
Beauty for ashes

Maybe it’s because I’ve had my fair share of chaos lately, and all I want is peace.
So yes, I think I want the message.

Do you need this message too?
It’s the message that answers every question.

Jesus didn’t come to deliver a message—He is the message.

The Cut off

While reading Daniel chapter 3, every word stood out to me. In every verse, there was a contention—one that was strategically aimed at the position the three Hebrew men had acquired.

At the beginning, it was said that everyone of high position was gathered. The instruction was clear: everyone must bow. But how come these men noticed that the three Hebrew boys in particular did not bow? They had been watching, lurking, waiting for the day these boys would fall. And maybe, just maybe, when they finally fell, they would rejoice—"The strangers who came to take our shine have finally been cut off."

This is exactly the strategy Satan often uses against us:

- If you don’t follow a particular order, you’ll be cut off.
- If you don’t sign the deal, even when your spirit isn’t at peace, you’ll be cut off.
- Your spouse will cut you off.
- Your kids will cut you off.
- Your customers will cut you off.

And Satan plays these tunes repeatedly, singing that same one-liner: "You’ll be cut off."

But here's the real question: Who is your trust in?
Who do you depend on?
Where is your foundation rooted?
Nebuchadnezzar thought he could manipulate the situation: “Bow to the image I built or be thrown into the fiery furnace” (paraphrased). He acted like he had all the power. But God responded through the boys:

"I am your King.
I gave you your glory.
I make the choices, not you.
You cannot cut off who I haven’t cut off."

Daniel 3:19 (MSG):
“Nebuchadnezzar, his face purple with anger, cut off Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered the furnace to be fired up seven times hotter than usual. He ordered some strong men from the army to tie them up, hands and feet, and throw them into the roaring furnace.”

To the world, it looked like the end had come. But to the God who never forgets those who stand for Him, He declared:
"I will make this fire your light. I will show them I am with you. You are Mine."

For every “cut off” the enemy has whispered into your mind to keep you bound, God is saying:
"I’ve got a counter sound. If you can just posture yourself in Me..."

Daniel 3:26:
“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire.”

Today, we choose to lay our lives on the line in defiance of Satan’s cut off, knowing this:

We will walk out of the fire.

When the Lord Gives You a Seed—The Master Gets Hungry Too

Again and again, whenever I read the story of the fig tree that Jesus cursed, my focus is often on the tree itself—on the fact that it didn’t bear fruit, even though it was its season. The Master had a need for it to bear fruit, but when He came to it, all He found were leaves.

So today, I’m focusing on the leaves in our lives—the leaves that should have matured into fruit, but remained stuck because we couldn’t discern our seasons.

What if we are the fig tree?
What if the Master comes today, hungry for fruit—would He find any on our branches?

The Master gets hungry too.
These words ran through my mind as I meditated on this powerful encounter between Jesus and the fig tree.

What is that seed Jesus has placed in your hands?
If He were to have lunch, dinner, or breakfast with you today, would He find edible, life-giving fruit?

Just like how sin wanted to make babies with Cain, Jesus wants to make spiritual offspring with us—fruits that give life.
He desires to see fruit in your marriage, business, career, and relationships. He wants to bring light into your spirit that will swallow up the darkness in everyday life.

He says:
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock…”
(Revelation 3:20)

He wants to dine with us. He wants to eat the meal we’ve prepared with our lives.

But here’s the real question:
- If Jesus had to eat from your table, would the meal be edible?
- Would He bless it—or curse it?
- Can Jesus eat from your life’s table?

What have you done with the seed the Lord has given you?

The System Called THE GOOD.

After journeying through life, there are moments when we begin to wonder if there truly is a plan for us in God that is good. After a sequence of traumatic relationships and experiences, a friend of mine concluded that God's agenda for her didn’t include anything good. “Maybe when I get to heaven, that’s when I’ll finally see good things,” she said.

Today, the enemy whispers lies, sowing seeds of doubt:
"You won’t get anything good."
"Even if the relationship starts, it will fail."
"The marriage will break down."
"The business will collapse."
"You can only attract the wrong people."

That’s the mind game Satan plays with God’s people—planting these lies until they become our reality. But the truth is: there is a system called Good. It was the original state of the world before the fall of man. There wasn’t “good and bad” there was Good and Evil.

Genesis 1:31
"Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

Genesis 3:22
"Then the Lord God said, ‘Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil…’”
To come into the economy of The Good, we must engage in warfare—kicking out the evil projections Satan tries to plant in our minds.

Good isn’t just an object. In God, Good can be in people, places, associations, conversations, and seasons. When God says “I created you for the Good,” He means it. Though the bloodline or brokenness in us may have infused evil, the Blood of the New Testament has been shed for the remission of our sins.

Today, we declare:
We come into the Good of God.
We disconnect from every form of brokenness.
By the blood of the New Covenant, we step into the divine system of Good.

I come into the Good of God by the Blood.

Purpose for Your Pain

I’d never really thought about these words until this morning: "purpose for your pain."As a co-writer on this daily blog, I had been away for over a month, and today, I finally resumed.

I know the story might get long, but I want to share it anyway because I’ve come to know that when God writes our stories, He pens a purpose—a growth, a death, a transition—for every action and statement, whether consciously or unconsciously made.

My phone had packed up, so I got a new one. But in less than a week, it was stolen. I felt fine all day until it was time for my quiet time. That’s when it hit. I thought I was okay until I wanted to say the very first words of prayer. What came out was: “How could You let them take my phone?”And I burst into tears.

To me, it was just a phone—but in that moment, it was an essential item I owned.

As you journey through this year, have there been moments you paused and said, “God, how could You let me lose this?” Maybe it was a relationship, a marriage, a child, your health, your business, a loved one—things you held dear.

But here’s the truth: God gives purpose to every pain the enemy thought would drag us away from the cross. Maybe the enemy thought, “This will take her eyes off Jesus,” but Scripture tells us:

“…Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”
— Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)

It doesn’t say “looked” or “look,” but *“looking”—a continuous, consistent posture of focus.

So, no matter what loss, grief, or pain 2025 may have brought your way—even with the tears still in your eyes and the ache still in your heart—you can choose to keep looking up.

Let your focus today be these words:

“Looking unto Jesus…” not on the failure, the pain, or the loss, but on the One who finished it all with the words:

“It is finished.”
John 19:30 (KJV)

“I am looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.”

Call unto me all ye that are weary

There are days when you have worried for so long—worried about the future, the present, a job, a breakthrough—that the worry begins to live inside you. You wake up with a heavy heart because your pillow has been soaked with tears, yet the burden still does not lift.

The Lord, in His mercy, made provision for days like this. He knows there will be moments when you feel like you cannot take it anymore. Days when you may not feel Him, yet somehow still know He is there. And in those moments, He is saying to you: Call unto Me.

I know there are days when even crying out requires strength you feel you no longer have. Days when asking for help feels like too much effort. Yet God is still calling you, saying:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Your labor may have felt like it came with no reward. The heaviness may have grown out of deep weariness—so heavy that you cannot seem to shake it off. But today, I bring an announcement to you: rest has come for you who are weary in Zion.

I sound an alarm in the spirit to let you know that the yoke is broken off you, and you are stepping into the fullness of all that God has prepared for you.

The Lord declares in Jeremiah 33:3:
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

Until you call, answers will not come. But when you begin to call on the Lord, heaven becomes alert. Angels are dispatched because answers are to be delivered. God’s desire is to show you great and mighty things—but to see them, you must call on Him. Not as a beggar, but as a son. Not from defeat, but from trust.

You must groan out of that place of pain and refuse to let the pain have the best of you. Instead, build with what the Lord is revealing in that moment. Nothing you are going through is a waste. Even time lost and opportunities missed—God is able to restore them. For we do not serve a God of second chances, but a God of many chances. He keeps coming back until your soul is redeemed, your time is redeemed, and you step into what He has prepared for you.

So I bring a reminder that God never left you.

Until You Become Dissatisfied.

Many of us have become too comfortable with what life has to offer. We settle. We adjust. We forget that there was once a man in Scripture called Jabez. The Bible says he was more honorable than his brothers, yet nothing in his life reflected that honor. There was a contradiction between his reality and his identity.

Many of us are in that same place — comfortable in contradiction. We are called peace but in turbulence, wealth yet in abject poverty. We don’t look beyond what life has handed us to see what God can do when we dare to pray certain kinds of prayers.

I once heard someone say, “I don’t want much from life. If I can just pay my children’s fees and have enough to eat, that's okay.” We forget that our words form our world.

Jabez’s mother birthed him in pain and named him after it. Even though he was honorable, his life carried a label that fought his destiny. But one day, Jabez became unsatisfied. One day, he said “Enough, this can't go on!”  he cried out to the God of Israel for a change.

1 Chronicles 4:9–10 (NKJV)
9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Beloved, until you become dissatisfied, nothing changes. A life of mediocrity is not God’s plan for you. A life of “just enough” is not your portion. You are God’s masterpiece, designed to reveal His goodness on the earth.

Heaven is waiting for you to get tired of average. Heaven is waiting for you to roar in prayer until angels are dispatched with your answers.

Until you become uncomfortable and cry out, the yoke will not fall. Like a dog that outgrows the chain and shakes until it breaks loose, you must engage in violent, persistent warfare prayer until you hear the chains fall, until you see the shift.

Consider the prayer of Jabez — and pray it until something breaks. Do not grow weary. Stand strong in faith until God answers.

Guide your heart with diligence

The heart of man is the root of all evil. This is true because no one truly knows what another person is thinking—what we often see is only the smile on the surface.

The heart of man is a battlefield. It is the place where the old crooked serpent constantly seeks control. He knows that if your heart aligns with Christ, you will live like Christ. So he comes after the heart—breaking it, taunting it, staining it—so that when you hear the message of Christ, all you feel is the wound within.

David said, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23
There is nothing you do that was not first conceived in your heart. The enemy knows this. He also knows he cannot force you, so he creates situations that will soften your heart toward his agenda , so that when you start aiding his agenda, you do not know.
You can call Satan many names, but do not call him foolish or unwise. The very fact that Scripture calls him a serpent tells you he is strategic.
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field.” — Genesis 3:1
His methods are deliberate, crafted to make you feel his presence even when he is nowhere close, you might thinking it's just that thought, but it's coming for your alignment to God.

To guard your heart is wisdom. When you do, you build a defense system that combats the enemy when he comes—for surely he will come. Scripture reminds us:
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8

As you continue your walk with Christ, it becomes essential to surrender your heart to the leading of the Holy Ghost.

Surrender your mind too, so that your thoughts become thoughts He thinks through you.
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 2:5
And what do you do after that? You keep vigilance over your heart.

Oh, the enemy is smart. He knows what you like, and he uses those very things to make your heart waver for We are not ignorant of his devices.”
2 Corinthians 2:11

But you must stand your ground and win the battle for your heart. Give the serpent no room.
“Neither give place to the devil.” — Ephesians 4:27

When you do, you will realize that the issues of life—whether victory or defeat—all begin from the heart.
