When we look at the lives of Cain and Abel, we see that Cain killed his brother Abel. After this event, God spoke to Cain, He said:
Genesis 4:10
"The Lord said, 'What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground.'"
From this Scripture, we can see that blood has a voice and the ability to speak. If the blood of a man could cry out to Elohim, the Creator of the universe, then how much more powerful is the blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for the remission of our sins?
The blood of Jesus was shed for our benefit, our deliverance, and our salvation. We see that through the shedding of Abel's blood, Cain came under a curse because of his actions. This reveals that blood carries spiritual significance. If the blood of a human being could speak and bring judgment, then the blood of a divine being, Jesus Christ can also speak, it has the power to bring freedom, redemption, restoration, and deliverance.
When we come into the economy of the Trinity, we must understand that Jesus was given for our redemption, and it is the Holy Spirit who makes that redemption a reality in our lives. Through the blood that Jesus shed on the cross, we have access to forgiveness, freedom, and reconciliation with God. So we must come to God in faith, believing that by the blood of Jesus we are redeemed and set free.
The blood of Jesus speaks even in silence. When it speaks, every other voice becomes mere noise because the blood speaks with authority. It speaks to rectify, to conclude, to deliver, and to restore. The blood of Jesus is one of the believer's greatest weapons in spiritual warfare. When you come before God by the blood, you do not need to defend yourself; the blood speaks on your behalf.
The blood was necessary to break the curse that came upon mankind through sin in Genesis 2. We see throughout Scripture that God is intentional about the significance of blood. While the shedding of innocent blood brought judgment, the shedding of the blood of Jesus brought redemption to humanity.
So when you face familiar spirits, confront them by the blood of Jesus. When you encounter negative patterns and cycles that seem impossible to break, confront them by the blood. When illegal agreements, evil covenants, or accusations are speaking against your life, your destiny, your career, your marriage, or your family, plead the blood of Jesus over these situation.
Declare in faith that the blood of Jesus is speaking for you. Trust in the Lord's redeeming power, for by His blood He has come to set the captives free and bring prisoners out of the pit where there is no water. The blood of Jesus speaks mercy instead of judgment, it speaks freedom instead of bondage, victory instead of defeat, and life instead of death.
The blood of Jesus is still speaking, and when it speaks, every other voice is silenced.
