FORCE THE OIL OUT

Olive is the fruit of an olive tree but for you to get the oil from it it must first be squashed and squeezed that is to say you must apply pressure, this is so with us that for evil challenge God let's us face he has equipped us for it,what the situation does is just to force the oil out we can see this in the life of Joseph, you know Joseph would not have understood if God was yo tell him I will take you to Egypt as a slave,  it didn't look like whom the Lord annoited it didn't look pouch or something but this was God letting Joseph go through the Process, taking Him into the prison and occastrating a situation where him alone would have answer and then bringing him out we can see that while Joseph was with his brothers he was a dreamer but the challenges after his brothers sold him forced another dimension he never knew existed interpretation, he started interpreting dream. 

You see you are tailor made for the challenge you gave today you just need to find the nob to the challenge switch it on a d let the dimension of God which he has placed inside of you for that situation to break you free.

We later see this same Joseph proclaiming to his brothers about how it was God's plan after all for him to go and perseverance their life

Genesis 45:5 (ESV) 

And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.

Your challenge and what you do with it is for the benefit of someone else, so today I want us to think on where we are think of what Hod has shown you and what you should do yo force the oil out.

Strength for Today, Bright Hope for Tomorrow

“If only we could sleep through the days when we feel overwhelmed and only have to wake up on the days when we are bubbling with joy.”

These were the thoughts I had the morning after my quiet time. Then the Spirit of the Lord said, “How would we know the strength of the Lord? How would we get to experience God’s goodness? How would we get to sit at His feet each day and simply soak in His presence? Because if we stray, we might end up broken and lying on the streets.”

“Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.” These are the lines of the famous hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness.

To know and experience God only when we are walking on silk cloth is a good thing. But to choose to walk with Him even when the road is blood-stained—that is a journey through which we cultivate strength in the secret place.

How has it been in the past few days, weeks, months, or years?

Are you currently walking on a silk path? Or maybe, just maybe, you have never really known what it means to walk on a silk path. Yet God’s promises for us are not consumed or lost in the trials of this world.

They are strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.

Maybe recently, I’ve been caught in the web—the web where the enemy thinks his rhythm will become louder than God’s promises. But just because I am weak today does not change the fact that God has a package specially written for me:

“I have given you strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.”

And so, even if it might seem that our strength is weak, God is saying that our weakness can become a manifestation of the strength that is needed for today.

We can gather up the weakness and weariness that we feel, bring them to Jesus, lay them at His feet, and place a demand on the promise.

Oh Lord, I am in need of strength for today’s journey and the hope that tomorrow will be perfected in You.

Rest in this one conclusion of David:

“The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me.”  Psalm 138:8

What is the kingdom of God Like?

St. Luke 13:18–19(NIV)

“Then Jesus asked, ‘What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree and the birds perched in its branches.’”

When we read the question Jesus asked, we may wonder: Why did He ask this question if He already knew the answer? Jesus was not asking because He lacked the answer. Rather, He was teaching us and inviting us to understand the nature of God's kingdom. 

Jesus came to reveal the Father, reconcile humanity back to God, and bring us into the reality of what God had promised throughout the Old Testament through the New Covenant established in Him.

A mustard seed is small and seemingly insignificant. It can easily be overlooked, yet when planted, it has the potential to grow into something much greater. In the same way, the Kingdom of God may begin in a way that appears small, weak, or insignificant, but once it is planted, it has the power to grow and become a place of refuge for many.

The Kingdom of God can begin anywhere. It can begin in your heart, in your home, in your community, or through something that seems too small to matter. What matters is that it is planted and grows.

To seek the Kingdom of God first is to seek the face of Jesus. It is to desire what pleases the heart of the Master above everything else. To seek Him is to know Him, to love Him, and to desire His presence even when circumstances do not look the way we want them to.

Sometimes, things may not turn out as we expected. Yet our greatest desire should remain His Kingdom. We seek Him not merely for what He can give us, but because He is our greatest treasure.

Jesus said the birds came and perched in the branches of the tree. This is to say that there is room in the Kingdom. There is room for you, and there is room for me. God's desire is that we would come to Him, find refuge in Him, and experience the rest that only He can give.

Jesus says, “My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.”

There is a peace that the world cannot provide and circumstances cannot take away. It is the peace found when we come to Jesus and make Him our dwelling place.

So today, come.
Come and find rest.
Come and find peace.
Come and seek His face.
Come and dwell in His Kingdom.

What may look small today can become a shelter for many tomorrow when it is planted in God.

There is room for you in His Kingdom.

Faith: Our Milestone Thermometer

When I first had the desire to build a children’s channel suitable enough to inculcate godly morals, I never thought my judgment would be shaped so much by the algorithm—its constant analysis and its attempt to curate a certain kind of content. Most times, it leaves me in a loop asking myself, “Am I able to create value out of this?”

But as I read through God’s Word in Romans, I am reminded that when God gives us an instruction, Romans 12:2 tells us that to know His good and perfect will, we must present our bodies to God. In doing so, we come into the knowledge of His good and perfect will.

Then Romans 12:3 says:

«NLT: “As God’s messenger, I give each of you this warning: Be honest in your estimate of yourselves, measuring your value by how much faith God has given you.”»

God is not asking us to judge our value by the world’s standards. Rather, He is asking us to measure ourselves by “how much faith God has given us.”

I am not asking that you go through this milestone on your own. But can you believe that God has given you the faith you need to make your measurement?

Can you trust Him enough to know that every time you give Him your ears, He is able to point you to that which will squeeze out the oil needed to produce something good?

That is God’s measurement scale: as long as He looks at you in that very moment and calls you good, then you have passed the test.

So today, as we go about our daily activities, can we weigh our value by asking the Holy Spirit:

“Is this within the concept of God’s good?”

In that moment, the pressure of the world can be exchanged for the peace of God.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit:

“Is this God’s standard of good?”

Bridle Your Tongue

James 1:26 (ESV)

“If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.”

Recently, I have found myself getting angry when things do not go the way I want. Then I began to use curse words: words I normally would not use. On one occasion, I was prompted to be mindful of my speech. Even as I tried to express myself, I raised my voice and eventually realized that I needed to stop talking.

There is need for constraints in the way we speak. As Christians, we are called to represent Christ not only in how we interact with people, but also in how we respond to the world around us.

The fact is, people and situations will sometimes make us angry. Things will not always go the way we want. But even in those moments, we must learn to bridle our tongues.

Persistent and consistent use of swear words can condition our minds and influence us to think and behave in ways that are contrary to the character of Christ. We are Christians, we are called to be Christlike. Our faith is not merely something we profess; it is a life we practice, with the goal of becoming more like Christ in our character, behaviour, and speech.

So today, learn to bridle your tongue.

Today, I admonish you: Bridle your tongue. It is better to remain quiet than to speak out of anger and lose control of your words.

Quite the Chatter

Very often, God speaks to us, but the amount of chattering occurring in our minds makes it impossible for us to perceive what the Lord is saying at any given time. We often hear voices of doubt, voices of confusion and voices of conviction, so we find it hard to recognize which of these voices is truly the voice of God. There is a need to know that this chattering occurring in your heart is not new to the human mind, and it is normal. However, what makes you stand out in decision-making is the ability to discern which voice is the voice of the Lord because, at the recognition of His voice, the other voices become silent.

To be able to discern the voice of God, you must grow in your relationship with the Holy Ghost. Intimacy is built in a place of continuous communion. There are times we claim not to hear the voice of the Lord, but the thing is, we do not really know what He sounds like, so when He speaks, we are unable to recognize that it is He who is speaking.

John 16:13

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.” – John 16:13

To recognize the Lord when He speaks, you must spend time reading His Word, studying His Word, and staying in His presence. When you do this, you grow in affinity with Him over time so that you can perceive what He is saying even when He does not speak directly. So today, I want you to reflect on where you stand in the Lord and see if there is any lagging within and trust the Lord to help you through.

Teach my heart to crave and yearn for You in this dark and weary world, that as I behold You, I grow into Your image.

WE ARE CHILDREN OF FIRE

Today, I saw the Upper Room experience in a different light.

The disciples had received an instruction: wait. So they waited. They gathered in the Upper Room, praising and worshipping God.

But they didn't know that their sound was birthing something.

They didn't know that the Upper Room would become a place of forging—a womb of fire where they would be transformed.

And then the fire came.

Everything about them changed.

Their sound, expressions, the way they spoke, their convictions, the yes and the no they made , the way they presented their arguments, their boldness with which they stood for what they believed.

That one encounter.

That one flame that rested upon them.

That one experience became the fire that transformed their lives.

It is easy to speak in unknown tongues during a moment and sometimes exclaim in "tongues" during conversations.

But have you encountered the new fire?

The fire that burns on us and in us—not merely to destroy, but to purify.

The fire that transforms the very people who encounter it.

Today, my question isn't, “Who can stand against this fire?”

My question is:

Have I truly encountered this fire?

Have I allowed this fire to fuel my entirety?

Little wonder that when electrical devices function, they often produce heat. There is evidence that something is flowing through them.

So I ask myself:

Do I carry this heat?

Have I allowed every part of me to sink into this fire?

Not only to burn down demonic altars and patterns, but to fuel the things we sometimes consider too ordinary for God:

Our joy.

Our minds.

Our creativity.

Our choices.

Our relationships.

Our conversations.

Our work.

Even the little things we think God doesn't care about.

If demonic altars and strategies cannot stand against this fire, what about the subtle things that seek to pull us away from the love of Christ?

Today, I choose to present every part of me to the fire.

Let it burn.

Burn over me.

Burn within me.

Burn right down to the foundations of my life.

Until it can be said of me:

I was born from fire.

So I can become a person of fire.

Powered by fire.

The fire that has a name.

The Acts 2:3-4

NLT: Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

Will you choose to partner with this fire today?

Salvation, Your key to freedom.

If you have ever been arrested or picked up by the police without knowing what you did wrong, then you would understand and appreciate the value of freedom.

This morning, however, I am not speaking about people who are physically restrained or in bondage. My focus is on those whose minds the enemy has consistently made a playground for his schemes; those whose souls are continually exposed to the lies and deceptions that he initiates. The enemy seeks to manipulate your thoughts, distort your convictions, and make you question your identity, sanity, and worth so that he can gain access in your life.

The birth of Jesus marked the beginning of the visible manifestation of the salvation story that was first announced in the book of Genesis 3:15 when Yahweh declared that the Seed of the woman would crush the head of the serpent. That declaration was God's promise of freedom for humanity.

God's desire for you is to be free, free from pornography, from immorality, free from satanic oppression of the mind, and free from every hold and bondage of the enemy. Freedom is the power and right to act, speak, and think without hindrance, control, or restraint.

Many times, the enemy attempts to shape the speech and behavior of people, influencing them to act contrary to God's design for their lives. But Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to bring true liberty to those who are in captivity. 

When Jesus was born, the shepherds hurried to see Him because they had waited for this promise for a very long time. The long-awaited Savior had finally arrived. Their joy was a testimony that God's promise of freedom had begun to unfold.

God's desire for you today is still the same, to be free. I believe this reminder that God loves you, and He wants you to walk in the liberty He has provided through Christ. So, go to Him today and ask Him to help you. 

St. Luke 2:16–19 (NIV)

"So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart."

Who Leads You?

Not just in the important decisions, but also in the ones that seem insignificant. What guides you into your choices?

In moments of heated passions and arguments, when you think, “Oh, it’s just a conversation,” or “It’s just a movie,” or “It’s just a song,” or “It’s just clothing,” have you ever paused to seek the wisdom of God concerning that specific choice?

It’s so easy to call on the Lord when the sun becomes glaring, but what if the question moves from “Is this a sin?” to “Would He have me there?” Would He have me invest in this? Would He have me take this journey? Would He have me prepare this meal?

Romans 8:14

AMP: “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

NLT: “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”

I would always prepare my meals for a month and stock them up in the fridge. But one Saturday, I thought about trying something different—perhaps cooking weekly instead.

I still ended up making an excess portion of soup and storing some in the fridge. Then came a power outage that lasted for three weeks.

Coming from a developing nation, power outages are a challenge we sometimes have to face. But the decision I made to change my cooking routine saved me from the losses I would have incurred if I had continued with my usual approach.

It reminded me of something: God wants to be involved in everything we do.

Even the thoughts that run through our minds—He wants their very depths to be rooted in Him, so that we do not build idols in our hearts out of people, places, desires, or preferences and then deny it simply because, to us, it didn’t feel wrong.

Subjecting every thought, conversation, and choice to the obedience of Christ is not merely a believer’s conduct; it is a lifestyle. It is a posture that declares the lordship of God over our lives.

The question is not always, “Is this wrong?”

Sometimes, the better question is, “Is this what God is leading me to do?”

Today, choose to make that choice.

Let Him lead you.

Good morning Holy Spirit

The Lord is with you always. We are no longer in a time when we pray for God to come; we are in a time when He dwells within us through the pers9n of The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the Person who feels uou with boldness, even when you know you are timid. He is that inner comfort you experience in the midst of chaos. The Holy Spirit is not merely a feeling; He is a Person. You can sense His presence, hear His voice, and experience His guidance. He can also illuminate your mind and bring understanding that is the work of the Holy Spirit.

There are days when He speaks through your thoughts, revealing mysteries and truths you did not know before. The Holy Spirit is present for your benefit. Jesus promised to send us another Comforter, and that Comforter is the Holy Spirit. Life was never meant to be lived without Him.

So today, as you go about your day, do something special for Him. Express your love and devotion to Him. Talk to Him anywhere in your car, at the office, at home, or even in the restroom. He is always ready to listen to you.

Have a lovely, Holy Spirit-filled day.

Choose Life

Luke 2 (ESV) 

11   For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

12   And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manager.

The word salvation means being delivered from sin and the penalty of sin. So, when the angel of the Lord appeared in Luke 2:10 and proclaimed that, "Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior," he was announcing what Jesus had come to do. You will note that even before this, the prophets Isaiah and Micah had prophesied about the coming of Jesus centuries before His birth.

The Lord is not willing to leave his children in sin. He is a compassionate Father who was willing to give His only begotten Son to redeem us. Jesus did not come merely as a man; He came in the fullness of His office to redeem, save, and reconcile humanity to God. Through His life, teachings, death, and resurrection, He showed us how to live. It is because of who He is and what He accomplished that we carry and proclaim the message of Jesus today, so we do not preach the message Jesus  preached but we preach Jesus.

Jesus is the One who can carry you on His shoulders, no matter how heavy you think your burdens are. He is the Burden Bearer. 

Jesus is the One who makes life beautiful, when your heart longs for Him daily. Jesus is the One who is able to save, redeem, and restore.

Today, I bring you a reminder that God's desire is for you to come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ through salvation. The purpose for which Jesus came cannot be fully manifested in your life until you say, "Yes, Lord, I agree."

So today I admonish you, choose Jesus.

God Is Calling for Believers

Perhaps because we've reduced the word believer to just another name for Christians, we've forgotten that being a believer is not merely a title—it is a posture, a position, and a way of living that God has called us to embrace.

Abraham chose to believe God's reality above his own.

As we step into this new month, I believe God is reminding us of one simple instruction: Believe Me.

I know there is a tendency to think, "I've heard this before. Faith. Believe. It's cliché." But until I fully embrace the very Word God has spoken, I will keep listening to it, meditating on it, and believing it over and over again.

We've gradually crossed into the final stretch of the year, and while many are already talking about the last quarter, God's message remains the same:

"I want you to believe."

As long as you believe the words I have spoken concerning you, nothing has changed. My promises still stand. My power has not diminished. I am still the God who performs miracles, and I will do it again and again.

Let these be our declarations throughout August:

- Lord, I choose to believe Your Word.

- I choose to believe Your promises.

- I choose to believe You even when my faith feels weak.

- Help my unbelief.

- Let my eyes remain fixed on You alone.

Abraham knew the reality of his situation, yet he still chose to believe.

Romans 4:19

AMP: He did not weaken in faith when he considered the utter impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's deadened womb.

NLT: And Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though he knew that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred and that Sarah, his wife, had never been able to have children.

Abraham knew—but he still chose to believe.

May that be our posture this August.
