Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord

There is trouble on every side, and sometimes you feel like running away and hiding. There's this song I love that says:

"There's trouble on every side, so I guess you want to run and hide. Your enemy is out for you, and you don't know why."

As a teenager, I sang those lyrics because they sounded nice. However, as I grew older, I began to understand them better. There are moments in life when the weight of challenges and troubles makes you want to run and hide. But how long can you keep running? The challenges of life do not operate on a timetable. If you run today, when will you return and run again?

When we look at the story of the Isrealites, we realise that they had been in bondage in Egypt for 430 years, waiting for deliverance. Then God brought as a deliverer and Moses came with God's message, many of them struggled to believe. They had become so accustomed to slavery that freedom seemed impossible. Looking at the Egyptians, they could not imagine a way of escape. Bondage had become their normal.

Yet God sent Moses with a word of hope and a message of God for Pharaoh. When they finally left and got to the red sea there were unable to cross because it was a sea and they were men not fishes, forgetting that God who had asked them to go through that route is willing to create a road and they said, you should have left as slaves, Moses response was thus.

Exodus 14:13-"And Moses said to the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever

The Egyptian can be your troubled marriage.
 It can be your child.
It can be that job your are seeking.
it can be the breakthrough.
It can be any set back you are facing now.
But beloved I want to let you know that there is nothing too hard for God to do, tarry in prayer, do not back down for the Egyptians you see today you shall see them no more.
Do not normalise what God has paid the price for, rise up and take that posture of Surrender and ask him for a change, standing on his word.

Choosing life Again

The blessings of the Lord are without repentance. When God wanted to establish a covenant of blessing, He swore by Himself because there was no one greater by whom He could swear. This shows that our blessings are rooted in God’s covenant and His unfailing promise.

Hebrews 6:13–15 says:

“For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, ‘Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.’ And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”

There are protocols to walking in the blessing of God. What God blesses is the work of your hands, therefore you must not remain idle while seeking His blessing. Get busy doing the right and appropriate things according to His will.

Many times, we become bound by the enemy because of ignorance concerning the covenant God made with our fathers. As a result, many believers live limited lives. Often, we choose the easy way of doing things, believing that if God is involved, everything should come easily without process, discipline, endurance, or obedience.

Because of ignorance, many make decisions that lead them into bondage, seeking after blessings that the enemy offers, blessings that ultimately lead to destruction and death. The broad way may appear attractive and easy, but destruction is at the end of it.

The Lord is once again calling us to choose life. Narrow is the way that leads to life, peace, and true fulfillment. Jesus said, “My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives.” which means there is a kind of peace tgat the world gives, but He said His peace surpasses all understanding and cannot be found in the temporary pleasures or shortcuts of the world.

Today, I want to remind you to choose life.
Choose obedience.
Choose truth.
Choose diligence.
Choose the narrow path that leads to everlasting life.

"Complete People Need God Too"

The illusion the enemy creates is that only broken people need Jesus.

“Why do I need God if I already have everything I need? I have a great job, my business is doing well, and everything seems to fit perfectly into the picture of a good life.”

Over and over again, the enemy writes letters of deception to our hearts, making us believe that God is only necessary when we have visible needs. But what if God is more than just the needs He meets?

He is not just a Provider.
He is not just a Protector.

God is the whole puzzle. He is the King over it all, orchestrating the entire game. Even the enemy, who thinks he is in control, is still under God’s authority.

Sometimes, because things work out for us, we place God aside. We seek protection only in danger, call on Him only in crisis, and move on once life feels stable again.

But if we are truly complete, why do we keep searching for the next thing?
The next craving.
The next satisfaction.
The next achievement.

Maybe it is not marriage, success, money, or status that completes us. Maybe there is a deeper longing within us — a hunger only the Creator can satisfy. The One who formed us understands the emptiness we try to fill.

Can the created truly say to its Creator, “I have no need of You,” simply because life feels okay for a moment?

And for those who think they do not need God, that is often the greatest proof that they do.

God still says, “I know you need Me.”
He says:
Revelation 3:17 (ESV)
“For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.”

The fact that you think you don’t need Him may be the very reason you need Him most.

When we define completeness through the lens of worldly standards and temporary fulfillment, we begin to ask, “Who is this God?”

But God has always answered humanity’s questions with an invitation:

“Come.”

Come all.
No restrictions.
No qualifications.

Every time God calls, His invitation is for everyone even those who do not yet understand what the invitation truly means.

The Man called Jesus of Nazareth

What do you define purity to be?

How can one truly be declared holy except he has encountered and lived for the Man called Jesus?

The man Jesus is purity personified. As I studied the blood and the process of atonement in the Old Testament, I am amazed at how important holiness is to God. How He gave Moses detailed instructions on how Aaron was to come before Him and make atonement on the mercy seat. As I read, the only words that rise from my lips are: What manner of God are You, O Lord?

Yet even those processes of atonement cannot be compared to the perfect, complete, and once and for all atonement that the blood of Jesus accomplished on the cross.

1 Peter 1: 19 (but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect).

Have you met the Man Jesus?

The One who was selfless and willingly gave His life for you and me.

Have you met the Man Jesus, the One who, in pain, walked the journey to Golgotha to prove His love for humanity and give us freedom from the sentence that came through the fall of man?

There is no greater life than a life lived in the knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth. Behold, He comes with His reward in His hand, and He will give unto those who diligently seek Him.

Beloved, The seek ye command is not for one but for all so today “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.”

I want to remind you that Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. His desire is to come into every molecule of your daily life and transform it, so today make a conscious effort towards seeking Him.

God bless you, and have a wonderful day.

We Can All Be Gehazi

Many times, I have heard the story of Naaman preached. Usually, it centers on how God works in mysterious ways, on Elisha's status as a powerful prophet in his time, on Gehazi’s greed, and on Naaman’s initial disobedience in heeding the prophet’s instructions. But as I studied this passage with the help of the Holy Spirit, I began to think about the potential prophet who lost his position because he chose to fulfill the desires of the flesh.

I began to read this scripture through the eyes of a man who introduced doom into his generation. It is easy to place all the blame on Gehazi and say, “You brought a curse upon your bloodline because you failed to control your fleshly desires.” But Gehazi was not an unbeliever. He was a servant who consistently walked under the tutelage of Elisha, the man who inherited a double portion of the anointing.

Despite being so close to such great power and witnessing the manifestation of God’s mighty works daily, Gehazi still had not subdued the desires of the flesh. Greed still lingered within him, searching for an open door—not just for Gehazi himself, but for his generation.

The enemy had Gehazi’s generation in mind all along, and it fed on the parts of him that had not yet been yielded to God. The hidden places within him had not been brought fully into the light. Those areas we often refuse to surrender while saying, “Lord, I am struggling. Can You help me?”

“Lord, I cannot control my emotions—this anger, envy, or jealousy.”

We may consistently sit under God’s power and even display that power, but if we have not truly yielded ourselves to Him, we can eventually become like Gehazi—endangering not only ourselves, but also the generations connected to us by blood.

God desires for us to continually experience the supernatural and the wonders of His power. But beyond miracles, we should also ask the Lord for the miracle of being broken open before Him—that He would search out every part of us that is not yielded to His way and remove it from us.

I desire to witness mighty miracles from God each day, but today my prayer is this: Lord, search out the parts of me that do not align with Your way, and pull them out until I become a reflection of the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Faith and work

It is not enough to hear the Word; you must put it to work. Simply hearing the Word does not make manifestation automatic. The truth is that the Word has already left God’s mouth, but for there to be manifestation, you must align yourself with it. Take the Word, apply it, and walk in obedience to see it manifested in your life.
Many times, Christians believe that once God has spoken, everything will happen automatically. They use phrases like “what will be, will be,” and in ignorance, they sit waiting for a turnaround without action.

James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

But faith and works go hand in hand. For there to be manifestation, you must align your faith with your actions, and that produces results.it is foolishness to think that faith alone is fine or work alone is fine.
Do you desire a job? Then apply while exercising faith.
You desire a career breakthrough? Improve yourself, learn, grow, and prepare.
Has God shown you something? Has He placed a vision in your heart? Do you perceive that where you are now is not where you are meant to remain, and that what you desire to do long-term is different? Then why not act in faith and start investing in that vision?
The Word has been spoken. Now you must run with it until manifestation comes.

Are You Ready?

Ready or not, what would you embrace for the sake of the Gospel?
For the sake of the Gospel, how far would I go?
For the sake of the Gospel, what death would I choose?
For the sake of the Gospel, what life should I lead?

Yes, maybe at first we came to Jesus because of what we thought He would do for us. But have we stepped into the place where we say, “Lord, I choose the path You have written for me”?

Far be it from me, O Lord, to choose my comfort over the weight of the call You have placed upon my shoulders.
I would go miles with You, as long as I journey with You.

Acts 21:13

GNT:
“But he answered, ‘What are you doing, crying like this and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be tied up in Jerusalem but even to die there for the sake of the Lord Jesus.’”

NKJV:
“Then Paul answered, ‘What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.’”

We all want to be Jesus babies but God is calling us into a greater communion where our choices and life decisions would intertwine into that heaven has written out for us.
Most times it wouldn't be what we consider "best" for ourselves but because heaven wants it we would choose it.

How far will you go for the sake of the gospel?

Do Not Harden Your Heart in Unbelief

Today, if you hear the voice of the Lord through His Word, do not harden your heart in unbelief. There is something that can separate us from the rest God has promised, and that thing is unbelief.
When God gives a word, He desires that we believe in His ability to perform it and bring that word to life. God is always willing to reveal Himself, but what He seeks is a man or woman who will trust His ability, align with His strategy, and maintain the right posture to see the fulfillment of His promises.
In the book of Hebrews, we see that Paul did not describe unbelief as merely a lack of trust in God, but as something wicked and evil.The book of Hebrew records God saying;
Hebrews 3:10–12
“That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’
See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.”
This act of unbelief delayed the Israelites from entering into the rest God had promised them — the land of Canaan. In the same way, our unbelief has the capacity to prolong our wilderness journey. Things that were meant to take a short while become delayed because we fail to trust God’s ability to perform His Word.
Unbelief rarely comes alone. It often comes with second options, doubt, fear, and alternatives to God’s instructions.
Has God given you a word of rest?
Has He told you that He is bringing you into a season of peace, restoration, or fulfillment? Yet everything around you seems contrary to what He said?
Friend, this is not the time to fall into unbelief. This is the time to take every word God has spoken into the prayer room and war it into reality.
Hebrews 3:19
“So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.”
Unbelief is one of the greatest tyrants against the manifestation of the supernatural promises of God.
Here is the truth: the rest you desire can only come when you decide to trust God’s ability to perform what He has spoken. Take intentional steps that reflect your faith. Align yourself with His instructions, pray fervently, and hold firmly to His promises.
Just because God says, “Come into My rest,” does not mean we enter it automatically. Faith, obedience, alignment, and persistence are required to walk into the manifestation of His Word.

What Do You Do When the Lord Seems Distant?

Has the Lord seemed distant to you lately?

As the Holy Spirit laid this question on my heart, I realized it was not merely about delayed answers to prayers or a waiting season. It was about those moments when everything suddenly goes quiet — sometimes after a powerful season of prayer and fasting, prophetic ministrations, or deep encounters with God. Just when you think, “I’ve got it,” everything grows cold and silent. Then it begins to feel as though the Lord’s voice is no longer loud enough, or perhaps He is not speaking at all.

But God will never leave His own without a word.

Even in the quiet moments, God is saying:

"Do not become so dependent on the loud displays of My power — the early morning conversations, the walks, the business instructions, the decisions, the plans for growth in your marriage or purpose. If there are moments when My voice grows quiet, it is because I have already given you the strategies and structures to journey with concerning that matter. Search it out in My Word and see if it aligns with what I have already spoken."

If you are searching for direction and the Lord is not specifically saying, “Go north” or “Go south,” perhaps you should seek alignment with the strategies and structures He has already given concerning your life.

Most times, the answer is not found in every tiny detail but in the broader picture God has already revealed.

So whenever the moments grow quiet, we can be assured that God has not abandoned us. Every time He allows us to walk through certain valleys, it is not only to demonstrate His mighty power, but also to prepare us for future crossroads where the answer will come from the training and wisdom He had already given long before.

The journey may be difficult, but just like the Israelites, whenever we are tempted to return to old ways or lose heart, we must never forget how the Lord has led us before.

Quiet seasons will come, and sometimes all the answer we need will already exist within the bigger picture God has spoken over our lives.

To the pure, All things are pure.

Have you noticed that in this time, where people glorify sin, when they see someone walking on the right path, they tend to ridicule the person and make them feel odd or awkward, attempting to cause them to derail from the path of truth?

Notice that the Apostle Paul spoke about this kind of situation in TITUS 1:15–16:

“To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.”

In this time, it is very important to surround yourself with the right kind of people. “To the pure all things are pure.” Even if they do not yet see all things as pure, they believe that everything can be made pure with God.

We must be very vigilant and attentive, watching out for those who pretend to know God, having a form of godliness while their works deny Him. The Holy Ghost is not silent in the life of a man. When He comes into the chambers of your life and begins to navigate it, what follows is a change in character  you begin to produce fruit.

No one sees what is happening inside a seed when it is planted in the soil, but the outcome  the fruit  is very visible. This is to say that our lives are meant to produce fruits that abide. We cannot profess to know God while continuing in a life of disobedience, abominable character, and ungodly behavior, yet still claim to be representatives of Christ.

It is time we examine ourselves through the lens of the Spirit, being truthful with ourselves about where we fall short. When we do, we must be willing to accept correction and ask the Holy Ghost for the power to live righteously.

We notice that the world is always looking for a way to speak against the Church, and this is often because of the character of the people they encounter. We must remember that we are representatives of Christ. We do not merely exist; we exist to reveal a dimension of God. As such, we must take deliberate steps to live in obedience to His instructions.

Jesus, the true path.

I was having a conversation with my sister when she told me how most of her kids find some churches boring and not exciting.
It made me think about the rapid increase of misleading teachings—doctrines that suggest a Christian can sit on the fence, serve God, and still hold on to other things. Some say, “At the end, it’s your heart that God looks at, and as long as there is love in your heart, you’re fine.”
But this points to a deeper issue. It means we truly do not understand who Jesus is and why Jesus died if we believe we can live divided lives.
We cannot serve two masters” (Matthew 6:24).
And again, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot… because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:15–16).
The truth is if you decide to sit on the fence, you are not actually in between; you are out of God's camp.
If sitting on the fence was acceptable, then there would have been no need for His sacrifice.
Jesus died for our salvation so that we would not live in confusion, but in faith, fully trusting in Him.

When we know Him, we know God. Every true encounter with Jesus is an encounter with God, because
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’” (John 14:6).
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is destruction (Proverbs 14:12). That path may feel right, look right, and even seem harmless but feelings are not the standard of truth.
Jesus took upon Himself that sentence of destruction.
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22).
He became the last Adam so that we could be free from the judgment of death and come into life.
Beloved, the decision to follow Jesus is not based on what feels right; it is a walk of faith.

And by the grace and mercies of God, we grow into the fullness of Christ.
So be sure the path you take today and trust God to help you through this journey of life.

The Face of the Gospel

The gospel means different things to each of us. When we encounter God, it is often not from the same place or in the same state. Yet the reality remains: Christ meets us at our point of need.

Today, as I studied the Acts of the Apostles, specifically Paul’s journey, the Holy Spirit highlighted Paul’s vision of a man who cried out, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!”

The question the Lord is asking is this: What is the help you desire at this moment?

Acts 16:9 GNT:

“That night Paul had a vision in which he saw a Macedonian standing and begging him, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us!’”

God’s Word:

“During the night Paul had a vision of a man from Macedonia. The man urged him, ‘Come to Macedonia to help us.’”

To some, the gospel is help. To others, it is salvation, peace, deliverance, restoration, victory, transformation, or rest. The list can never be exhausted, because our Savior brings us so much more than we can ever define. We cannot limit Him based on our personal experiences or encounters.

Our heart posture should not simply be, “Lord, I want to take my experience of You to the world,” but rather, “Lord, may I bring the gospel in a way that meets the true needs of Your people.”

This is what God is saying to us: Do not present the gospel as though it has only one expression or dimension of truth. Jesus is not confined to a single reality. In our journey with God, we must come with open hearts like an empty vessel ready for the unchanging God to reveal Himself in new and deeper ways.

When we introduce Jesus to others, we may encounter someone struggling with peace. And we can say: Yes, Jesus saves but He is more than salvation alone. Embedded in His sacrifice is a covenant of peace, signed, sealed, and established forever.

Today, Jesus is…

“What Are You Doing With It?”

The Scripture says in Habakkuk 2:14:
“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

So the question is this: what have you been doing with the knowledge of God that you have received to see this prophetic word come to be?

Have you treated it like something casual, like news you read in a newspaper or a line from a novel? The Word of God is life, and it only becomes living reality when you believe it and put it to work.

When the Bible says the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, it is not speaking of mere head knowledge. It is referring to something visible, tangible, and undeniable the manifest glory of God revealed across the earth.

Think about the sea. Have you ever observed it closely? There are no empty spaces, no dry gaps, no place where water is absent. The sea is completely saturated. Every part is covered.

In the same way, there will come a time when no tribe, nation, or continent will be able to say they have not heard of Jesus. The knowledge of God will cover the earth completely fully, undeniably, and without exception.

So again, the question remains: what are you doing with the Word of God you have heard? What are you doing with the freedom and salvation you have received?

You must embrace the prophetic Word in Habakkuk 2:14 with hope and joy, and make a conscious decision to play your part in its fulfillment. You were not saved for yourself alone. Through each of us, the glory of the Lord is meant to be revealed on the earth, so that all people may see and know that He is God.

So I ask you today:
What are you doing with the Word of God, with the salvation, and with the freedom you have received?

It is time yo make conscious effort toward living a God filled life and a life where th3 manifest hand and glory of God is seen on a daily basis.

Rejoice Always: The Posture of Joy and Thanksgiving

You know that in life it is very easy to let our joy rise and fall with circumstances. When things go well, we rejoice. When they don’t, our joy fades. But Scripture calls us to something better, something more stable than emotions tied to situations.
We are often reminded to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Yet, many times we overlook the verse just before it: “rejoice always.” This is not a suggestion; it is a posture God invites us to live in daily.

Joy is not a Reaction but a Posture.

True joy does not come from what is happening around us. It flows from our communion with God. It is rooted in the confidence that no matter what we face, we will be sustained as long as we remain in His presence.
God is merciful and just. He is not indifferent to our pain, nor does He desire for us to remain in suffering. His desire is to bring us into the glory of His Son, Jesus Christ. Even when we feel pressed on every side, we are not destroyed.
Then just immediately after pray without season we see the Power of Thanksgiving.
The Scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18:
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Notice it says in everything, not for everything. This means that even in difficult seasons: moments when we question, when we struggle, when we wonder if God sees us, we are still called to give thanks.
Why?
Because thanksgiving shifts our focus.
To be thankful is to recognize God as the Source. It positions our hearts in dependence and obedience. It reminds us that even when we have not yet seen the desired outcome, we trust the One who holds the outcome.
Staying Rooted in Joy.
God’s will is for us to remain thankful because He knows what it produces in us. A thankful heart keeps us looking up. It strengthens our faith. It anchors us in hope.
When we choose joy, even in uncertainty, we are making a declaration: that our trust is not in circumstances, but in God’s faithfulness.

Beloved, today is another opportunity to come before God with a joyful heart. Shake off discouragement. Lay aside heaviness. Approach Him not just with requests, but with gratitude.
Pour out your desires in the place of joy. Stay connected to His presence. Remain thankful, steadfast, and confident.
Because as long as you stay rooted in Him, He will come through for you.

God bless you.
