Food to Eat

What food did you eat after the fast? While having a talk with my kids about the temptation of Jesus, a teaching class became more like a highlight point for the Holy Spirit to minister through. After Jesus’ fasting, He wanted food. Immediately after His period of waiting on the Lord, His body reacted by being hungry. Satan saw this hunger as an opportunity to present his offer. The enemy always sees our hunger — most times after the wait — the enemy sees our taste for that which we waited for, and he comes to present a counter alternative.

But just like Jesus, would we immediately sense Satan's ability to take advantage of our hunger and feed us his diet — and reject him? Or rather, embrace his lies to feed our hunger?

The hunger could be a marital partner, the alternative to raising a child, the business structure, the career path, the health issue. What food would you eat to satisfy the hunger in your spirit and also the physical pangs that cry out within you?

After the fast, the praying, the seasons of waiting — the devil comes and questions our sonship with God. The promises the Lord has spoken to us — he challenges them and tells us he has a better offer: the world, the glory, the liberty — if we could choose his way.

Most times, after the confirmation and the promises, we go into a period of hunger. After I was prophetically told that I would bear a child, the periods ceased. The child became more rebellious after God gave you the strategy to raise them. The marriage worsened. But all this hunger could only be answered by constant posture through the Word of God.

Recently, after going on a fast and receiving promises from God, two days later I was met with a mail stating a rejection from a company I had applied to. But God cannot lie. By faith, we press into every word He has given us — because God cannot lie.

Revive with JJ family — God cannot and will not lie to you.

DRUNK IN THE HOLYGHOST

This phrase has been rung in my spirit as I thought on what to write— Drunk in the Holy Ghost!

Back in my university days, there was a program on campus. I couldn’t attend, but something about it stayed with me. The words spoken during the campus rally has stuck to my spirit man since then — “Drunk in the Holy Ghost!”

Friends, this generation needs that kind of intoxication again.

The enemy is on a rampage — he is trying so hard to silence the move of the Spirit and reduce the knowledge of the Holy Ghost in the lives of men.

But when Jesus ascended, He said, “I will not leave you as orphans, I will send you a Helper.”

That Helper is the Holy Ghost — the life-giving Spirit!

He is the One who gives us the strength to live victoriously on this earth.

He regenerates our human spirit because it is our spirit that looks like God.

When Scripture says we were made in the image of God, it’s not referring to our body — it’s our spirit!

The body is only the container that carries the divine nature of God.

To live triumphantly, we must be in sync with Heaven.

We must resonate on the same frequency with God so we can navigate the issues of life with wisdom and power!

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

And when the Holy Ghost came upon the disciples, people looked at them and said, “These men are drunk!”

They were not entirely wrong — the disciples were indeed drunk, but not with new wine! They were drunk with the Spirit of God!

So, if being “drunk” means being filled with boldness and divine power —

If it means breaking free from fear and doubt —

If it means being stirred to take steps into the next season of our destiny —

Then let us be drunk!

Let us be consumed with the Holy Ghost until everything within us aligns with Heaven’s fire!

Yes, they may say we are drunk…

But we are not drunk with wine — we are drunk with the Holy Ghost!

What Gospel Do You Carry?

Is it the gospel of peace or of destruction?

Is it the gospel of violence or of wasting?

God’s Word in Isaiah 61:1 declares:

 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor.”

As Christians, the Lord has given us a mandate—to preach the gospel. It’s not a call reserved for a certain group of people or a particular breed of believers; it’s a call for all who bear His name.

We are sent to proclaim good tidings to the poor, to declare the good news of our dominion in Christ Jesus. The gospel we carry is not one void of power or evidence. When preached, it heals the brokenhearted and sets the captives free.

We carry a message that opens prison doors—releasing those bound by generational patterns, demonic strongholds, and foundational limitations. This gospel brings liberty to destinies, restoration to creativity, healing to the mind, and revival to the economy of lives and nations.

We don’t just preach words; we preach life itself, and that Jesus. When the Word is spoken with revelation, ancient gates tremble, because when you discover the right Scripture, your liberation is certain.

We preach the gospel of Christ—the gospel of peace and the redemption of mankind back to God. Out of the ashes, God calls forth beauty.

So we cannot be ashamed of this gospel. For if the Lord were ashamed of us, where would we be today?

Friends, it’s time to unashamedly declare your position in Christ.

For Jesus said,

“If you are ashamed of Me before men, I will also be ashamed of you before My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:33)

Stand bold. Carry the true gospel—the gospel of peace, power, and redemption.

The Good of God

The word “good” has been redefined by the world. We often label things as good based on our own perceptions — “That’s a good marriage,” “a good house,” “a good family.”But have we ever paused to ask: What was God’s definition of good before the fall?

In Genesis, when God created everything, He saw that it was good — a kind of good that transcends human standards, societal morals, or cultural expectations. A good untouched by the distortion the enemy has poured over mankind.

There are moments I come across an idea and feel it's good. But when I share it, someone else responds with doubt, disappointment, or disapproval — because it wasn’t their kind of good. This clash of definitions reveals how often we fall short of God’s original standard.

Everyone may think this is the person I should marry, this is the job I should take, or this is the path I should walk. But God’s version of good might look completely different — because His will is both good and acceptable.

 While praying, I kept hearing God say: *“You will become the definition of My good.” That’s the posture that helps us stay aligned with His purpose.

God’s “good” may not always make sense to those around you. But remember: when He looked at Adam and creation, He called it good — and then He blessed it.

That means: we only access God’s blessings when we walk in His definition of good.

So today, as you face life’s choices, don’t measure them by worldly standards. Ask instead: Is this the good of God?

And in that moment, the Lord will look at:

- The way you raise that child, and call it good.

- The marriage you choose, and call it good.

- The business or career you pursue, and call it good.

Our whole existence, aligned with His will, becomes “good” in His eyes.

Yes, the fall stole our good.  

But we can return to the Father — and seek out His good again.
