Genesis 18:12-13
Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’
This is not a new experience. We see it in the life of Sarah, who laughed when God's message was delivered to her, that she would bear a son in her old age. Many times, I find myself asking the same question: "Lord, how can this be?"
Yet, as children of Abraham, God has called us to walk by faith. He calls us to take steps that align with His promises, even when we cannot yet see their fulfillment. The supernatural requires our faith and our prayers to manifest. It requires our willingness to obey instructions and build structures around the words God has spoken.
Today, I want to encourage you: everything the Lord has said He will do requires a response from you. Take steps of faith. Build structures around His word. Pray, believe, and wait for its manifestation.
Just as a seed must be planted and given time to germinate, God's promises often require patience and perseverance. Do not be discouraged if you do not see immediate results. Keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep building for as the earth remaineth seed, time and harvest will not seize.
God bless you.
