Sometime ago, during our church in the house, which most people call home cell, Greatness Communities, house fellowship, etc., we spoke about the importance of joining Christian groups and how one gets sharpened and strengthened through them.
Joining and being in the right community is very important, as iron sharpens iron. You also see people who will go all out for you when you need it because when done intentional good Christian relationship and friendships can be built. As children of God, we are to surround ourselves with the right kind of people, those who will be willing to go to war with you in the days of trouble, those willing to go through the good days and the bad days with you.
We see this in the life of the mighty men of David. They went all out for him, even when David said he wanted water from the well close to his village in Bethlehem. They were willing to put their lives at risk to see that he got it.
Who do you surround yourself with? Are they mighty men or worms? It is important you join the right community of believers to sharpen the gifts of God in you and to share God's love. We were never created to do life alone, so it is important you do life with the right persons.
